36 - The Gang Exploits a Teenager's Death (feat. Brendan Dalton)
The lads wave through a window as they force theme song composer/wandering troubadour Brendan Dalton (Dickinson, Younger) to climb the great rotting tree that is the 2022 film adaptation of the 2016 Broadway hit: Dear Evan Hansen. They discuss the musical’s baffling plot, Ben Platt’s trip to the beach that makes you old, and the greater state of mental health in a world where you won’t necessarily #befound.

Currently listening to a cover of "You Will Be Found" against my will while in line for the LAX Delta bag drop-off. What is it with this musical and airplanes
I had a girl send me “If I could tell her” when I was in high school to describe how she felt about me. Idk where else to go with this anecdote I just felt like sharing it as a vignette of how young people thought of these songs.
These songs are awful
hey now. "weeping like a willow" was excellent.
I also watched this on an airplane, an international flight even. It was miserable.
Love this! Wish you would do the “Sgt Pepper’s” film some day. I saw it recently and . . . Wow. Having George Burns being the only non-sung voice we hear is insane.
