@5:44 "She's an owl cub" Yeah, a baby owlbear. HOOT GROWL
HOOT GROWL!! Spring break, I believe in you!!
Brian does seem like the sorta fellow who would hold half a bar hostage with a shaggy dog story that ends in a pun which makes everyone want to settle their tab immediately.
As a mid school teacher this makes me laugh so hard.
I remember the summer before freshman year of high school, we were assigned an anthology of short stories, Best American Non-Required Reading. I vaguely recall a matador waking from a trist, and later committing suicide by bull. I think. It's been a couple decades. Anyway, our teacher admitted to assigning it because of its title, and it set an unreachable expectation for how "mature" high school was going to be.
Surprised no one had heard of Wild At Heart before, it was ubiquitous in the early 2000s and sold more than 4 million copies. It was far more popular than even Every Young Man's Battle in my sphere of Christian friends.
As one of the four I feel very seen
so what you're telling me is that the march sisters would have loved dark souls
well, maybe just Jo. i think Jo would be a gamer if there were video games in the 1860s
I googled 'adventures in Odyssey squirrel' and the second image that came up was cartoon Whit in full Richard the Lionheart crusader gear about to go full deus vult. So, I assume we'll be talking about THAT in due course...?
FWIW HIPAA didn’t happen until 1996, so it wouldn’t have been in effect at the time of the episode. I don’t know what the law was like before that, but, sure, doctors could probably talk about their patients with impunity.
Anyway I haven’t heard the new announcements for OMNY, yet, but I’m still not taking the subway anywhere near as often as I was in, say, 2019.
the ad in this one was far better than it deserved to be
I dunno, some of that audio sounded suspiciously like it was being played backwards? It's probably fine.
🎶”last Chris-skit muck rake u my heart”🎶 ….so glad to be back in the twisted world of Odyssey 😍🙏 love y’all
Holy shit, that "#316" joke absolutely annihilated me.
The thumbnail has given me a fully cursed question that I'm not sure I want the answer to. Has Adventures in Odyssey ever had a gamergate episode?
gloobers is the closest thing i can think of
