BOBUS 14 - Bloodborne: The Old Hunters DLC (feat. What's all This Then?)
We've done it. Charlotte and Libby are back to join us in the Hunter's Nightmare, a blood-drenched Valhalla where no one's having a good time.

Fun fact: Orphan of Kos and Pizza Tower use the same library of screams
Small correction: it did not take a week for people to figure out how to access the DS1 dlc, information on how to access it was given on launch, because its a really bad idea to hide from people how to access their paid content Also while the steps are obscure they make sense in the context of the games story It did take a week for the pokemon community to figure out how you got eevee to evolve into slyveon consistently however
i you’re interested in analysis of the music in bloodborne, you should check out Patrick Rainville on youtube! he did a video on the main game and just put out one on the dlc! https://youtu.be/rhvSfgTzdLo?si=Pb3Fbao_G4YWTxdd
Fellas it was an act of evil to somehow bring up the music and choose to talk about the living failures song and not Ludwig's.
Now that I've finished the episode: Over 4 hours of bloodborne content and not one mention of the true best weapon, Chikage 😤
Don't you got to kill the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst to get that?
Hearing y'all describe the meaning behind the whole story makes me *really* want to see you all talk about the game Everhood. Very similar themes of granting peace to immortal beings who fight you every step of the way, VERY different delivery method.
Something I found following the speed/challenge running communities, bosses are """easier""" the first time you face them on a given save file. Attack patterns and timings are much more rigid and less dependent on player input than future attempts. Anyway that's why Charlotte is just lucky and I'm still cool and good at games for realsies 😭
🦈🦈+🧙♀️🦴=👍
I would not recommend disturbing a corpse. I'm pretty sure that's a crime
The guy Yamamura who is bashing his head against the wall after Ludwig is named after the combat designer for Bloodborne and Sekiro and the director for Armored Core 6!
I feel bad for easily parrying every single one of Lady Maria's attacks. She's a hunter, and once you've mastered the gun, they become the easiest fights. But I mean, hey, it's not my fault that all of her attacks have an obvious wind-up. Eat Quicksilver, Corpse Lady.
Proudest gaming moment I ever had was deciding to go into Lady Maria immediately after the Living Failures, not resting so I only had 5 vials, and then going from scrambling like a rat in phase 1, to just parry-spamming the next 2 phases, and barely eking out the victory on my very first ever try with a bare sliver of health and 1 vial. Felt better than the first time I beat the Capra Demon.
Variations on the Moonlight Sword even recurs in the Armored Core games! It, along with Patches, are eternal.
continue an unofficial british season with runescape, the most british game of all time
Ludwig's song is legitimately the best music I have ever heard in a game.
"Ah, sweet Child of Kos, returned to the ocean... A bottomless curse. A bottomless sea. Accepting of all that there is and can be."
Episode 1: creepy Episode 2: wet
