Mods Studio v.2025.01 released

Time flies so fast...

Feels like it was yesterday when I was writing the last MS2 release post... when in fact, it's tree months later! In any case, we have spent these tree months working, as usual! 🙂
Here's the overview of the biggest additions...

Window decals for ATS

We have added this long-awaited feature to all trucks in American Truck Simulator. And since US trucks can come with big cabs with a lot of windows, we made sure you can put your decals on all of them (yes, all cabs and all windows on them!) 🙂

Pizzster Modding vehicles

In collaboration with Pizzster Modding, we have added their vehicles into Mods Studio as default. They provide high quality mods for American Truck Simulator, both trucks and trailers.

Standalone trailer updates (PRO FEATURES)

 Now you can connect doubles and triples to your standalone trailers. But, that's not all - we have added the option to choose chassis configurations for standalone trailers. That means you can choose what axle configuration your trailer should have - and that was one of the most requested features over the last year. As the title says, these features are available to our Patrons, as a little thank you for all your support!

Player company logo

 Now you can add your own company logo into the game, adding a bit more immersion into your gameplay.

User interface improvements

• We have added a couple of improvements to the vehicle editor:

  • Added option to duplicate items in lists (accessories, variants, sounds) - also available as a keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+D

  • Added hotkey to delete items: Del

  • Added an Undo option in case you delete something you didn't want to: Ctrl+Z

• In the vehicle database, we have added (back) a some filters - now you can filter vehicles on Game and Vehicle Type.

• SCS Extractor interface improved

• Added validation for selected cabins and variants in truck and trailer templates, so you don't end up accidentally exporting a mod that won't work
  

So, what's coming next?

We're continuing work on Mods Studio, of course, but we also plan a separate release of the new 3D Previewer Pro around Easter. We already teased it a couple of times, so check out our older posts, or our Twitch VODs if you're interested in details.

In the next few days we're expecting a new ATS map DLC to get released (Missouri), so make sure you visit our Discord for the DLC giveaway once it's released!
