New Top, Accessories and Hairstyle for the Paramaker
Happy Friday everyone! Sonia here for today’s fashion mag!
As some of you may already know, we’ve started to create new items and it has been a pleasure to play dress up with all of them. Now it is time to show some of the new additions with the help of lovely Parafolks who gladly took the pose for us!
Fancy
Here are some of the fancier items we added to the PAM:
Marvin feeling like himself wearing a brand new 3 piece suit. The jacket and vest are part of the same item but the shirt can be changed thanks to the layering system
Little Eli all fancy with his cute bow and matching vest. The shirt is the same as Marvin’s and it’s also using the layering system with the vest on top.
A very sweet elder Parafolk who took some time to pose for us. She’s wearing a brand new jacket and a V collar shirt below it.
Not only did Marvin get a new suit, he also got a new hairstyle, how lucky!
Casual
Now for some of the more casual looks:

Maggie loving the new cap and round collar shirt that can be tucked in or out.
This Parafolk is wearing a new shirt as a jacket, a reversed cap and glasses. I honestly might steal this look.
I wish I could show you all the possible combinations and patterns but the post would be endless so we’re gonna end it here.

Eli’s shirt looks a little like it was painted onto him :) maybe fewer wrinkles, too?
I’d love to see some cute hats like berets, beanies, cloche, breton, etc.
these are looking good! i hope we will see further improvement to the way meshes interact with boobs, though: open shirts and loose cardigans don't stick to the underboob crease, and it's always a bit frustrating to see that in video games

Wow looks amazing! One thing: Maggie's shirt has visible seams at the shoulders but they should run diagonal from the armpit to collar with the grey sleeve being one piece. It's called a raglan sleeve 😊
I absolutely love everything we can see. And the customisation options are just blowing my mind. You can achieve so many different looks with relatively little assets because of them. I have one small feedback about the vest we can see on Eli. As someone who has to wear a vest for work, the pockets are a bit too low, they should be around the same height as the second button from the bottom. I can't wait to see Maggie's original dress with the off shoulder ruffle redone!

Idk who made Marvin hair but they're doing their thing! That's one of the best fades I've seen in a game.
I love love love this!!! It would be really interesting if all the clothes played into the weather system... If a Para goes out in the winter wearing a tank top (low warmth categorization) they'll get cold much faster than if they went out in a long sleeve shirt (medium warmth) or a puffy jacket (high warmth). And layering clothing stacks warmth levels! Same goes for if a para goes out in the summer with a heavy jacket, they might get a heatstroke. This game just gives me so many fun ideas... I love what you guys are doing, and how you involve the community. You're all so awesome!!!
It's pretty cool how the same shirt looks very different depending on how you layer it (as seen here on Marvin and Eli), and also I hadn't realized until today that the wardrobe options would be shared between various lifestages ? Because that's VERY exciting to me : with the layering system (not to mention the patterns and color wheel), so many items could be used for very different ages ! The same dress for an child girl and an adult male for instance could look very different. Is that canon or just during development ? (also I love this elderly Para very much and I need her to become part of the official Para roster ! Let's give her a name !!!)
That fade would be perfect for Ncuti Gatwa when i inevitably attempt to recreate all the incarnations of The Doctor
Where are the adoption papers? I wanna adopt Eli TODAY. The clothes are looking sooo good tho! And Marvin IS rocking that look
The fade looks SO GOOD!!! Loving the sporty look Maggie is sporting as well!
The hats look super good, they don't look completely oversized, they actually fit the Para's heads!

Love the ability to layer and tuck/untuck! Provides so many options with only a few pieces.
Loving all of these. I would love to see some loose fitting/oversized clothes next time.

I love that (at least some of) the shirts can be tucked in or out. I feel like the style for that changes all the time, and it really “future-proofs” things to be able to do either

The fitting of all the items looks super! As if they have been tailor-made for each para. The smart and casual looks are all equally well fitted and I'm still adoring the hand-drawn look with all the little details of buttons, pockets and creases. Excellent work!
Is this our first time seeing an elder para?

Still looking forward to this game as much as ever! Love the new looks! Can the ties (Eli's and Marvin's) also change colour and pattern? Also, are they separate or part of the suit?
Hello! The tie and the bow can indeed change colors but not patterns ,this may change in the future. They are part of the same item to the shirt, meaning you can't remove the shirt to only wear the tie/bow. Now the jacket and vest are separate cloth, meaning you can change what goes underneath! You could wear a Vest with nothing else if that's your style!
