Wishing you all a happy new year and all the best for the months ahead. On our side, we have plenty of exciting new things coming our way, as we aim to release Paralives in Early Access later this year!
For this post, we’ll feature a regular office team of Parafolk. Some seem to be struggling to get back into the rhythm of office life. Could it be the monotony of everyday work they didn’t miss, or did last night's celebrations run a bit too long...? I’ll let you decide!

Nossa eu sei que isso já é antigo mas, me veio uma ideia aqui! A parte em que vocês mesmo diz que o penteado ainda não foi afetado pelas regras do local.. então pensei, já pensou se para entrar em determinado emprego ou empresa, caso você tenha colorido o cabelo de seu para, ou talvez suas roupas não sejam apropriadas para aquele estabelecimento e você perde a vaga por isso, ou é avisado assim que entra, que precisa "neutralizar " esses detalhes! Kkkk seria incrível
Paralives looks better and better everytime I see a new post! The body hair is perfection!
Some of the lines on the clohtes and the parafolk are a little bit too extreme and should be lightened up!
I am absolutely loving the variety of body hair and skin details 🩵 every body is different and its great that well be able to represent that not just for facial details but also body details! That one blouse I feel has a little too much linework going on though, I'd say, makes it look very wrinkled. Perhaps simply toning down the opacity of the lines would help with that? I noticed a similar thing on a few outfits before. Everything else looks perfect though ☺️
Those clavicle lines are so heavy I legit thought she had a large tattoo across her neck and chest on first glance 😳

happy new year!! i absolutely love the modern mullet hairstyle, the red blouse and the cozy hoodie - i really feel like i know how the fabrics would feel on my skin, the texture looks great on these! i also adore the necklaces and bracelets - having a wide variety of jewellery is so fun. my favourite thing from this post is the corse body hair though - my brain immediately went to "oh i can actually make my boyfriend this game" which like, representation is so so great <3!
I like that the men's body hair is both curly and straight, I hate that in the Sims we only get straight, so any black Sims made can't have the curly body hair they should have. Heck even some white guys have curly chest hair. But then the body hair in The Sims games never look real, it looks like someone used a marker to pretend they have body hair, both in TS3 and TS4. The Parafolks body hair actually looks more real, even with the drawn look of the Parafolks. I like the hair and outfits too and the freckles for both body and face.

I know it's a fairly simple piece but I LOVE the ring necklace! I wear my wedding ring on a chain because I work with my hands a lot amd wearing rings exacerbates my eczema, so it's nice to know I can recreate myself a little more accurately 😁

Happy New Year, Team!!!! Ok can I just say, that the "boss" lady is a bad b*tch! (Excuse my language) but she's so badass and I love her hair and the red blouse. Perfect additions to the paramaker. And forgive me if I'm wrong, but are we seriously getting Vending Machines in the base game? If so, I'm even more excited for early access this year! Great job to everyone involved and can't wait for what's to come
The vending machine are not functional for the moment, but they'll be in the future!

Happy new year guys! I'm so excited for this year because of this game 💚 I liked everything except 4 things that I believe need more work IMO: The blue blouse looks a little too wrinkly (the one without the pattern). The neck lines on the redhead look too dark for that skin tone. The freckles and skin details in the same parafolk look a little "low quality" (I don't really know how to explain it). Lastly, the boho bracelets also look low quality, like too pixelated. I know the main esthetics in Paralives is to make them look like "drawings" and I like it but some things look amazing and others look "unfinished" or exaggerated. Sometimes "less is more" in the case of body lines specially. I repeat, this is my opinion only. I'm super excited for this year's development posts and Early Access, wish you the best of luck 💚
Thanks for sharing your feedback! I'll take note for the blouse, neck lines and freckles and see what I can do on that side. For the bracelet, they're never meant to been seen this close to be honest, the low quality isn't as noticable from a regular viewing distance.
Hope you had a good rest team! Excited to see what this new year brings! And ofc loved the post as always - you never know what you’re missing until it’s gone and damn did I miss weekly posts! My favourite detail was how everyone had a different resting expression - the older lady looked like a free spirit from her beau teak face, while the para with the mullet looked so done with life XD

Happy new year, team! I hope you all enjoyed some restful and fun holidays!! I love this post, so many great new hairs and accessories and clothes and details!! It all looks great! I can't wait to start making Paras of my own! I'll just be trying not to interpret that summer calendar as some kind of hint XD
Very good additions, but what I liked the most was the blond guy's nose. It looked exactly like a friend of mine, I will replicate when I make him in the game. The pictures of the body details were a little bit shiny/glossy, different than the rest, I believe. What happened?
Perhaps they were taken at another time of the day when the light was stronger hehe

I can't believe it will be out in early access THIS YEAR. I've been following along since the first months when you released those window and furniture resizing teasers 😄 And it's come such a long way, and with so much dedication!!! I'll be honest, back then I thought it would never be finished and come out 😅 But here we are!! You should be very proud of what you've accomplished<3
Happy New Year team! I!'m just curious, is matching body hair for different parts of the body (arms, legs, back) planned? The ones in here look great, but they might look a bit odd without the rest of the body. Just curious though. Nice work!

I also wish you all a wonderful New Year. This post contains so many interesting details, I'm so excited. I love the short light and medium length hair and the blouses are so cute. I also love the body hair and freckles on the body. It looks so good. But one thing bothers me and that is how skinny the redheaded woman looks. I hope in real life she looks different and is fine.. (if she really exists) You can see it particularly clearly on the neck/decolleté and on the feet. If eating disorders are going to be part of the game, then these are really good details about what effects this disease can have on the body. However, if this is not the case, I am of the opinion that the Paras are too thin if this is still considered the ideal weight.
Eating disorders ≠ a body type. People have all kinds of body types, and people lose and gain weight for an array of health reasons. Older slim people may have more defined collarbones bc the skin sags from the body. I don’t think any of these Paras are meant to represent “the ideal weight”- they’re just paras with different body types to show the variety.

Happy New Year, Paradevs ! The opportunity for me to wish you the best for 2025, which is going to be such a big year for you. This January also marks the 5th anniversary of me joining the Paratreon, and I couldn't be happier with what the progress over these years. I absolutely love that red blouse. That's my kind of blouse, right there. Also very much interested in having curly body hair, that's not something you see everyday ! The jewelry is very nice too ; here in France we'd call the first one a "chevalière", but I don't know if that is also the case in Québec. My favorite in this post is probably the older Parafolk with freckles AND wrinkles. It's so nice that we'll be able to combine them rather than having to choose, and it gives the character so much... character !
