Room Service - Alpha 0.1 | Public Release
Hey everyone!
The first update for Room Service: Weekend in Crimson City is available now for everyone to play on Windows devices! (Android coming soon)
== Alpha 0.1 ==
It's been a long time in the making but Room Service is now in an early playable state! I want to emphasize that this is the first update and as such, this is a very, very brief update. There's not much playable nor is there any NSFW content just yet. The primary goal with this Alpha release was to create a base for the game and to test out some updated features.
You may notice the game now includes a bit more motion! Dialogue and on-screen clickable characters are now animated. This feature is still a WIP and I'm still testing ways to make these animations a little more efficient.
Some parts of the Alpha are also temporary or incomplete. The Manager, for example, does not yet have animations. But she'll be feeling much more lively soon!
In this Alpha update you are introduced to Jennifer, a lively woman who will be the primary love interest of the game! I hope you enjoy getting settled into your hotel room for the weekend. I trust the accommodations will be perfect for your needs ;)
== Android ==
I am currently working on a new Android port that should be a little less antiquated and will hopefully be easily compatible with newer devices. However, I was struggling to get it working in time so the Android version will be releasing at a later date. I am hoping to have that done sometime this month!
Once the Android build is up and running, it will begin to release simultaneously with the PC version on new releases.
Thank you all so much for your patience while this update was in development. The first update is always the hardest since so many art assets are needed. But now that core of the game is complete, the focus can shift more towards advancing the story & NSFW scenes.
