Goopy July 2025 Check in
Howdy folks, Hope you're all having a good Saturday!
Another comic has wrapped up so you know what that means; it's time for another patreon check-in and for me to share some thoughts and some insights on how I work.
Before the Brainrot was great! It was a blast and also my first totally SFW comic run so I really got to stretch my fingers with some artistic decisions and I think it lead to some of my best composition and background work to date. It was a really nice change of pace from having to make everything super sexy and attractive for adult comics. That being said I'm definitely starting to feel the burn from how intensive a full background shaded official looking comic can be on top of commissions so I'm going to be taking a prolonged break from them. (Zoomer potato/ Rita comics will NOT be going on hiatus)
For the past couple months this is how my weekly schedules looked.
You may also notice streams are written there and that's right! Starting on Fridays I'll be streaming my work day exclusively in discord for all $10+ patrons! I feel like I haven't been giving enough for my $10 and $15 patrons to be worth it's value so I want to make an effort to give a little more back to you guys specifically especially with your extra pages comic bonus coming to an end. The streams will start in August! Due to me coincidentally being out of town these next two Fridays. Side not but July 17th- July 25th I'll be visiting family but still working from my mobile tablet so you should still see art from me just not as much.
Additionally for $10+ Patrons I'll also be making an effort to make patreon polls more consistent as I've done them in the past but have typically been to busy to keep them going at a steady rate but thankfully the Friday Free date should help fix this!
Planned changes aside here's an assortment of random thoughts:
If I take a crack at another comic maybe I'll do it in B/W to make it a bit easier on myself since I can line something incredibly fast.
I want to try and do more Goo-Dile comics those are goofy and the Dile Comic office setting can be funny. (HR violation jokes are tickling my funny bone atm)
If streams don't work out the idea of doing little 5 min timed doodles for $10 & $15 tiers popped in my mind but that sounds like a lot more work then it does on paper so I'm hesitant to do that, I also want to try thowing an exclusive drawing your guys way.
Patreon has been a MASSIVE help in my month to month finances, seriously you guys help me out so much and I wouldn't be able to do this without you, I cannot thank you enough and your continued support makes me so greatful I'm able to do this for a living.
Here's a REALLY stupid comic idea I've been trying to figure out how to write for a couple weeks now. The original idea was some gooner thinking Nuns only exist in porn and being mind blasted finding out they're real. I got this idea when I saw a nun while groccery shopping.
Can't believe it's already been a year of Rita comics, here's to many more!
