Warframe.market Overhaul: Part 1
Soon inc. presents: Overhaul \ rework \ rebuild... whatever.
The coolest part.
That freaking overhaul has reached the final stage, and now I can talk about it, and describe what it brings.
It’s still in development, so not all of the new features will be described here, just the core ones.
All screenshots are from dev-version.
So, something can be changed\renamed\corrected.

WFM will start to work on React-redux.
So it should become smoother, better, faster(?), stronger.
And we can introduce more awesome features in the future.
Consoles support
There will be 2 new subdomains for PS4 and XBOX users:

xbox.warframe.market
Unique, dedicated, totally separate sections for console users.

More Languages
Yeap, now WFM will support internationalization.
Initially, there will be 2 langs:

ru
That includes item-names\descriptions\etc. and UI.
There will be another post about how to contribute translations.
But this will be not an easy task.

All “early” patrons, will receive these special badges, that will be shown inside their profiles and beside their avatars.
“Early”-patrons are users who contributed before update arrives.
Also, after update, all patrons will get their badge, corresponding to their tier:
Other rewards:
No ads.
Reputation \ Trust-level boost.
Profile customization.
Unlimited number of orders. (default is limited to 100)
There will be another post about rewards and update strategy.
But in short: Patreons will be the first who receive all new stuff, later it will become available to all users.
As example, profile customizations will be available only for Patrons, but then after next update all users can use this feature and patreon will get new feature instead.
But it is possible that some awesome stuff will be patreon-only no matter what ^^

Conclusion
Update isn’t ready yet, but close to.
Still in development, and i will report about its progress.
ETA time for release is unknown, very likely that full release will be in January.
Currently I spent all my time on this overhaul, but my resources are almost depleted.
Anyway, rework will be released, no matter what.
After this, I will switch to iteration updates.
What this means: No big updates, that take almost a year to develop, but frequent ones. (relatively)
There is still the need to implement support for Riven mods and Kubrows. (We think about an auction for that)
We still need to add more statistics, notifications, monitorings and other stuff.
Also, we almost have an android-app ready, that needs to be slightly improved and adapted to the new API.

When this will be released?
Hey dudes, this is awesome but would it be too complicated that traders can write sidenote to the stuff they want to buy? Like a text-field that you can read when you hover over an icon which contains a certain message. Possible use for this - "AFK right now, brb at xx:xx pm" or "Would like to buy in bundles" etc. etc. It would really improve a lot imho. It´ s the only thing I´ m missing for this site to have. Why especially a textfield that can be read only when hovered over with mouse? To ensure noone would use this feature to promote links and all the scam that you can imagine ;) much love <3
I'm concerned about the seller rating. What happens if someone demands I lower my price but I don't want to (has happened many times). What's to stop them from giving me a negative? It seems like the rating system will be used mostly to blackmail people into lowering their prices etc.

There are a lot more Turkish players playing this game. Turkish is a nice thing to have the game face on dec. Here also we want to have Turkish language support. This will allow you to be more boss, I'm sure.
I'm noticing something thats really effecting the current WFM for sellers. If someone puts up, say, "Cunning Drift" for 25p, anyone else that wants to put that mod up for sale has to go cheaper for buyers to even consider them. So, now we have people trying to get their time and efforts worth at 25p for Cunning Drift, but instead there are 4p and 5p sales that completely upset the rythm and leech the worth of the item. This sort of thing doesn't happen in the in-game trade chat. Idk if this effect has a proper name, but is it possible for a system to be in place so people can sell their items for descent plat? Dont get me wrong this is great for buyers ;D
It's called supply and demand. Supply and demand is the theory of value in economics, the value of all things is based on the supply of a thing, and the demand for the thing. If demand is higher than supply, then the cheep ones will sell quickly, till only the expensive ones are left to buy. But if supply is higher than demand then sellers will have to lower their prices to sell their things. This theory also explains why things have different values in different places. For example, The convenience of the Warframe Market ensures that there are a lot of sellers on the Warframe Market, this increases the supply, Thus lowering prices. However the in game trade chat is a hassle to use so few people use it, This ensures that supply is lower there. Thus the prices are higher on the in game trade chat. Does that answer your question?

Any plans to enable us to filter out inactive listings? There are people that were last seen online over 6 months ago.

Also, how will we be able to link our rewards here to the updated warframe market if the email addresses are different?
There is an ability to link patreon account through Oauth.
Im now contributing...primarily for the chance to sell more than 100 items :) ...also, how is the reputation thing going to work? there are always a ton of people offline trying to cheat the market, and there are those babies out there that pout when they want a huge discount on your item. you should only be able to leave reputation points if you have an account and are active. and some scammers and toxic traders are in clans that support such behaviour, so they can all give each other reputation and continue their toxic ways . what about them?

Yes i also thought about auction system for Riven, because each one has different stats so we can't choose one price. That's very good idea. What's more - as an amateur graphic designer i can say template is awesome. Perfect work :) I'm waiting for your next post about how to contribute translation. Unfortunatelly, i can't become a patron right now...
Love what I am seeing. Have you considered making a button that copies "/w [username]" or even "/w [username] WTB|WTS [item] [item-price]" into the clipboard. That is what I always have to construct ...
