Announcing a New Podcast: Matt's So-Cast Pod!
Hi Patrons!
I’m super excited to share a new upcoming project with you: A podcast about the groundbreaking and still-beloved 1994 TV show My So-Called Life.
The podcast is called Matt’s So-Cast Pod, and I’ll be diving into the TV show with some fantastic guests. We’ll tackle it all: the music & fashion, the teen angst, our own teenage drama … and of course, the groundbreaking portrayal of Ricky, a gay teenager struggling to figure himself out, played by young Wilson Cruz.
Matt’s So-Cast Pod launches on March 25. You’ll get a heads-up when the first episode drops, and I’ll have more details about where to subscribe very soon. (In the mean time, if you want to get caught up on MSCL, it's streaming on Hulu in the US, and you can search for the nearest library with the series on DVD here.)
I can’t wait to share this show with you!!!
See you in yearbook,
Matt

Also I know the series bible mapping out the whole arc for the never made season two is out there!!!
There are little hints of it in the commentary on the DVDs ... Graham was about to become SUCH a stinker
Oh Matt, hell yes!!! Could this be the straw that breaks the camel's back and gets us decent transfer of MSCL on home video? I rewatched "The Zit" on hulu the other night and the soundtrack sounds like it's coming off an old tape deck. The people demand HD!
I agree, the online version is DREADFUL -- especially on the episodes with important music, which is SO frustrating!
Welp I guess that signal it's about time for another rewatch
I didn't get to see this when it aired as I'm in the UK and it was on late night Channel 4 over here. It looks like it is region locked in the UK 🫠 so time to get a second hand copy on eBay...
Argh, sorry it's hard to get over there! Let me know if you find it streaming on some other service & I'll update the post ... it's just hard for me to check international availability from the US.
Yay Matt!!! One of my favorite shows... Rayanne forever ❤️❤️❤️
Did you know that NOT ONLY is the Rayanne actress now an actual British countess, but her family motto is -- and I'm not making this up -- "Where I have fallen, what have I done?"
I literally just started rewatching this show! This is amazing timing 👏🫶
Awww yay!!! Which is your "that's so me" character? I hate to admit how often it's Brian and/or Patty
