Have you heard heard about Orry-Kelly, the man who swaddled Bette Davis' chest while (maybe) stealing Cary Grant's heart? Orry is responsible for some of the most memorable costumes of the 20th century, and also some of the juciest gossip. There's a lot we can never know for sure about Cary Grant, his once-close companion ... but there's also a lot that isn't hard to infer. Did you manage to pick up a copy of Wisecracker, the biography of Billy Haynes? He talks about running into Orry Kelley and Cary Grant in Greenwich Village and does not mince words. It's a bit hard to find, but if anyone can find a copy, I know you can.
