Bonus video! Paul Lynde's best Hollywood Squares quips, responding to your comments, and Penelope Pitstop
Thrilling news: Patreon and Vimeo say that they've fixed the glitch that was making it hard to view videos in the app! You'll need to update to the latest version of the Patreon app (the icon is black instead of orange) and then it should work. Let me know if you're still running into issues, and here's a backup link just in case: https://youtu.be/W9Qk90qSkI0
And with that out of the way: Behold, another Patreon-exclusive bonus video! This one gathers some of my favorite of Paul Lynde's quips on Hollywood Squares (I catalogued a whole bunch of them and WOW there are a lot). I also touch on some of Paul's voice work as the Hooded Claw on The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, and also that show's strange connection to a silent film from 1914 and also, oddly enough, to Donkey Kong. Plus! A little sneak peek at my next upcoming video, all about everyone's favorite Mistress of the Dark.

Paul H., the implication was that Paul has done 1/2 the men on the hockey team. 馃
Free title idea for a biopic: The Perils of Paul Lynde.
Oh that's EXCELLENT
Matt, another great bonus video, even if we have to use the link. I miss Paul Lynde & his quick wit. The joke about the hockey team was classic Paul!
I don't get that joke!
I love your youtube videos so much, but I think I love your extra videos just a little more. I'm glad I get them both. :)
Nice video. Love Paul and also love any time I learn some new Super Mario trivia!
Love the quips! Also, McDonald's being shady does not surprise me..
Yeah! Thanks for the shoutout to Beach Blanket Bingo! For anyone who wants a full recap of this fever dream of a movie, I recommend this podcast- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/moviestruck-episode-12-beach-blanket-bingo-1965/id1555353000?i=1000530759095 The movie involves a teen idol, sky diving, a biker gang, Buster Keaton, _a mermaid_ and an ending that is indeed a total Perils of Pauline homage which I refuse to spoil bc it's so out of left field. I highly recommend watching it slightly buzzed.
Yeah they just absorbed some of the psychadelia in the air, it was the 70鈥檚
I simply Iove Elvira! Her show was fantastic and it ended way too early. The movie was a blast, and the stuff she did for Hulu was amazing. ( I think that it was called 13th nights of Elvira) hopefully this will come out for Halloween
Love your videos Matt! Also I love Elvira and im wondering if you've heard Kim Petras' album Turn off the lights? It just came out a couple years ago and it's Halloween themed and Elvira is all over it! Thought it might be a neat thing for your Elvira video. Also what happened to your video about Buffy?? You mentioned it a few videos back and I would love to see it!
Sorry to tell you that the inbeded video is still not working. Hopefully I said that right. Then again I could have getting beded on the brain
the only bad thing about your videos is, that they are not much longer! could watch for hours... thank you!
Ditto for the non-working embed.
Dang, the embed still isn't working on Android.
Same here. I can see the video in my email that says you posted this but when I tap the video and it brings me here, there鈥檚 no video at the top on my iPhone. But the link works great!
Hello, I have the update but still need to use the back up link.
ARGHHHH I really thought we had it this time. Oh well, I'll let Patreon know. Thank you!
