New video tomorrow! The Unlikely Master of Gay Sitcoms, James Burrows

A new video goes live tomorrow, Sunday, at noon pacific!

Click here to watch the video. Hit the "notify" bell and you'll get a heads-up when it goes live!

It's about James Burrows -- the TV director who elevated sitcoms to an art form with shows like Cheers, Frasier, Taxi, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and many many more. He was also responsible for some of the most iconic queer episodes of TV comedy. And he may have helped pave the way for gay marriage in the United States.

As always, Patrons at $10/month and up get ad-free access.

And I hope you'll join me for a livestream before the video premieres, starting at 11am pacific! Here's the link to the pre-premiere livestream.

Who was Phyllis' gay ex? Your videos are always 💯, you've definitely found your groove. I hope it grows and you get a big audience you deserve. You need your W&G to tell mainstream 2026 that gay is ok, and queer is even better! (slight allusion to For The Boys joke, Is kissing wrong?) I like when you remind us of Showbiz people's connections to other queer projects, ie. Where do I know them from?

He did a fantastic job of making tv shows, but Mid Century modern was sadly a horrific show. Frasier was a better gay show if this was his last show i only wished that it had been better. Everyone deserves a great finial act
