Bonus! Welcome to Dorfpride
I'm in Heidelberg, Germany this week, and I've encountered an excellent project that I think ought to exist in the United States. Or maybe it already does and I'm not aware of it? It's called Dorfpride, and it's essentially an annual road-trip to create new Pride events in remote villages, so queer folks who don't live in big cities can still connect with their larger community.

This is great! I love this whole concept. Also, a very good arena for everyone to demonstrate allyship in their own communities, making it more visible and solid.

Thank you! Alas I leave Heidelberg tomorrow morning for Munich, but I hope to be back soon -- I really love it here. It's so beautiful, and surprisingly queer for a smaller city! Reminds me of Cambridge in the US, with all the academia.
