Don’t worry — this is a very common false positive, not “a virus in the game.” Antivirus tools (especially Windows Defender and Chrome/Google Download protections) often flag new or lesser-known .exe files, especially if the game isn’t signed with a big-studio certificate. Two detections on VirusTotal out of dozens of engines is almost always a false positive, not a real Trojan. A genuinely malicious file would usually be flagged by far more engines. What usually happens: You unpack the archive. Defender / antivirus silently quarantines or deletes the .exe. That’s why nothing launches. What to do on Windows 11: Open the folder where you unpacked the game. If the .exe is missing, go to Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history and restore the file from quarantine. Add the entire game folder as an exclusion: Windows Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add an exclusion → Folder. Then unpack the archive again (if the file was already deleted) and run the .exe as administrator. You don’t need to turn antivirus off permanently. A folder exclusion is enough. If it still doesn’t start after that, send: the exact antivirus name, a VirusTotal screenshot, the exact error Windows shows when you try to launch it. We’ll sort it out.
