NYC Museums, subway, city & a few final personal photographs from my trip
I arrived back to Miami from New York City almost 2 weeks ago now. My trip to New York City for my art show was beyond magical. I found myself again. I rediscovered my love for the city and for the people above and below ground. I had so many magical experiences with friends, acquaintances, photoshoots, events, and a very unexpected surprise at the end where I decided to extend my trip for a few special reasons. Serendipity yet again is central to this city. Manhattan and Brooklyn were home for me and my ancestors for such a long time that it always feels so incredible to be back. This location is also near my moonlight in Astro cartography. Depending on which Astro cartographer, I’m speaking to and how my chart looks. If you know anything about astrology, the moon has to do with feelings and emotions and it’s connected with the home. So the fact that my moon line goes so close to New York is one of the reasons I always feel it like it’s home as well. I had the extreme fortitude of being there at the same time as the füde experience where I got to attend a dinner party in Brooklyn with nude women. I also had the opportunity to go to a few museums at the end of my trip, including the Guggenheim and the MET. I was able to see some incredible art by some of my favorite painters and also the iconic work by Raphael (Italian renaissance painter) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The city is so full of rich history, I feel so lucky to be able to spend time there, and I hope to continue going back there throughout the year each year to see my friends, fellow artists, to meet new artists and collaborators… Thank you so much to everybody who makes these experiences possible, including my best girlfriends who always host me and thank you to all the humans of the world who make me truly feel like a grain of sand in the cosmos. Did you know the root word a museum is muse? So a museum used to be a house of Muses, or that is the root concept of the word (my friend informed me recently.) This makes so much sense as we go to museums to find inspiration and beauty. I hope that you enjoy some of these images that I captured during those times in museums and just throughout my final week in the city.

That juxtaposition of seated male nude and the preceding … clever and fun, and noted. 🙏🏻🤭
