Happy New Year, everyone! 2025 was not the best, so lets hope 2026 is an improvement!
For myself, this is the year where I'll dig deeper into animating using Rive. And I intend to do that immediately, with my next project being made fully in Rive! (Well, the sound will be added in afterwards, but you know what I mean lol)
I don't know how long it will take to make this first Rive animation, as I want to take full advantage of the better software. As such, I'll post more WIPs to keep you excited until the project is finished. On the side, I'll do some quickie animation loops, so you folks aren't starved of content.
This Rive animation will consist of a Public and Patreon Deluxe, like all my other animations, and I'll also post individual loops (and maybe some alts?) to sweeten the final package. There will be no interactivity, but that's the trade off for higher quality animation.
I have a character in mind for this first proper Rive animation. It won't be one of my OCs; instead it'll be a fanart for a manga / anime character from a very popular franchise. Who, though? When I post the first WIP, you'll know who it is... :)

I've finished the final scene for Marcille (after my brain decided "do another scene" when I thought I was finished), so now it's a matter of tweaking thing and double checking for errors and stuff. So...hopefully posted tomorrow, maybe tonight?
Will these Rive animations have a scene select or is that still interactivity?
No, the Rive animations will be video only (mp4), unless Rive updates to allow HTML5 export, which would be *insane* but unlikely to happen. I'll publish the video with times of scene starts so people can skip to whatever scene they want to see easily.
Can't wait to find out who the lucky character'll be.
Oh yeah, and at some point I'll be making a birth animation set for the Pregnancy Contest. Add it to the list!
