Gacha Cummy 1.11 The Technical Update and the continuation of the Poll!
Hello and welcome to this week’s Gacha Cummy Progress Report!
This one will be a bit boring, considering it's more on the technical side, but it's equally as important for the game development, so please bear with us as we go over some of the issues we’ve been dealing with recently.
As some of you may have noticed, the latest update was not released on itch. The reason is fairly simple. We’ve hit the platform’s 1 GB file size limit. Over the course of development, the game has grown significantly in both scope and size, which has led to a number of tech-related issues we now have to address. Because of that, we’ve spent some time focusing on the less exciting side of development: optimization...
A similar issue also came up with the web version of the game, not due to file size, but because of high memory usage during story mode. So far, we have managed to reduce the overall game size by around 20%!, while also cutting RAM usage in half for the web version! We will release these updated versions alongside this post. Along with optimizations, this update also features some requested bug fixes, but it doesn’t include any additional content.
We appreciate your patience while we work through these challenges. More exciting updates are on the horizon, and we’re looking forward to sharing them with you soon!

alright lets be fr here w this question; will their be male playable characters in this game in the future? i mean, i wouldn't mind a female version of the priest if necessary, after all, u do have girls playing ur game;) (we can be gooners too fr)
Hey, adding something like a female playable character would affect all the scenes and most of the dialogue, which would essentially mean remaking almost the entire game. I don’t really see this as feasible...
