Hey everyone
Hey guys and girls!
Okay, so I know it’s been literally forever since I posted anything on here, but I’m finally popping in to update you guys.
First off, seriously, thank you so much to everyone who’s still subbed or just joined!
Like, genuinely, you guys supporting me is the only reason I’m able to continue this art journey, so I actually appreciate it so much.
Lately I’ve been super obsessed with drawing Wuthering Waves stuff.
I know gacha games aren't everyone’s thing and honestly, some of the mechanics are total brain rot so thank you for liking the art even if you have no idea who the characters are.
There are way too many games coming out right now, it’s actually insane.
I feel like everyone is either completely quitting gacha games, playing random indie stuff, or just sticking to like one main game so their life doesn't fall apart.
What are you guys even playing right now? Are you hyper fixated on one daily game or trying new stuff?
Drop it in the comments, I actually want to know!
Also, when I’m not stuck at my tablet, I’ve been forcing myself to take actual breaks and catch up on anime I missed from like the last three years.
I watched Yani Neko, which was ridiculously goofy and easy to just turn my brain off to. And I started The Apothecary Diaries, which honestly caught me completely off guard, the world building is actually so good and Maomao is literally a vibe.
Anyway, what are you guys watching or playing lately?
Give me some recs in the comments!

NTE and Helldivers 2 for me. I get the gacha game burnout but NTE has been such a breath of fresh air.
I've been playing a lot of Deadlock as of late, and am currently playing through Xenoblade Chronicles X. Keeping up on my dailies for NIKKE and Pokemon Masters ex. As for shows I'm watching, I just finished JOJO's part 6 and have started a new show called Nippon Sangoku which is pretty interesting so far.
Been playing most of the gacha games for a while now. HI3, Genshin, Wuwa, HSR, ZZZ, Reverse 1999, Arknights OG and Endfield, with NTE out for a while now and then Ananta in January. i have been playing too many games I think xD
Doesn't it take a long time for you to finish all the dailies? I think it took me forever just juggling through 4 gacha game dailies everyday until it was just un-doable.
Currently playing HI3, ZZZ, AK Endfield, GFL2 and BD2, so my gacha lineup hasn't changed much, when all the gacha content is done, or if a game comes out I want to play, I slide that in between, like recently Mortal Shell II
But all them dailies, how do you manage them all??
I've been spending my time catching up on the trails franchise, dropped about every gacha game I played to make more time for it lol
Oh the trails have wonderful storytelling! I enjoyed almost all the titles!
Gacha wise, I've started playing NIKKE and got some very good pulls. For non-gacha, I've been going through older Final Fantasy games while really looking forward to the next FF7 one! Also been playing Trails in the Sky 1st Ch. remake! I really really recommend the anime Eighty Six: 86! It's my favourite one!
Haha I actually finished watching 86 when it was airing! It was a good show and I hoped there would be more mecha action anime like it but so far I couldn't find one that really sated my thirst for it. Good call on the Trails series! The storywriting is superb and I personally recommend it, been playing the remake also from time to time.
I'm obsessed with Nikke. I spend way too much on merch. The story is actually really good, not just for a gooner game. Genuinely good.
Out of curiosity who is your fav NIKKE?
Hey there! I'm still subscribed here even though I don't play Wuwa and the game doesn't interest me, because despite everything, I love your art style. Personally, the gacha games I play are HSR, ZZZ and P5X (I discovered you few years ago by seeing your Hoyoverse fan art on Twitter; I was playing Genshin at the time, but not anymore). On a purely personal note, I would be really happy to see you diversify your drawing subjects like before, whether it's VTubing, other gacha games, anime, whatever. (As long as you don't force yourself to do it, of course; the most important thing is that you enjoy what you draw.) Love on you and your art
Wow thank you so much! I'm glad you like my art style! I was really invested in HSR when I was drawing Aglaea, story was really captivating and I loved the world building but Amphoreus was a very long story and I feel like I'd gotten burnt out at some point due to the content deluge. ZZZ I also loved it, the vibe of the world and the characters designs are really up there and even to this day I feel like ZZZ pumps out one of the best if not THE best character designs to date. Only thing I didn't like was how the next few banner pretty much made previous characters almost obsolete, powercreep was insane by the time I quit. I'll definitely try to draw other stuff too in due time, got some vtuber related work on my plate so you guys will probably see that soon. I really ought to draw some anime too
For the month of August my friend group and I were playing through Big Walk
Lol I looked it up and now I kinda wanna play it haha
Anime wise been watching the new ghost in the shell and game wise been waffling between metaphor refantizo and crimson desert
I forgot all about the new Ghost in the Shell, thank you for the reminder. How does Crimson Desert compare against Black Desert?
Yep still with you! And easy answer, Ananta is all over twitter
Yeah I keep seeing Ananta on my feed too. It's one of the games I'm definitely going to try playing once it's out
Always a fan of your oc's. Seeing some art of some vtubers would be cool too! Cersea has a cool character, same with August Anom.
Oh! Which one? xD Sister Reine is my main OC but I have a few, some I've retired.
I've ben playing Azur Lane and Nikke lately and doing sme car mechanic simulator. I like to try moral she'll 2 when I have the time
I love the outfits designed in Azur Lane and Nikke, on that alone I think these games are really killing it
Finished watching Witch Hat Atelier & DMC recently. Currently watching Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider & Chained Soldier.
I was so surprised when I heard the OP of DMC xD so much nostalgia from 2000's but it all fits!
I've been considering quitting wuwa for a bit now. I've been playing Project Moon games: Lobotomy Corp and Library of Ruina. I'll most likely start Limbus Company and leave wuwa. And watching some seasonal anime like Re:Zero, Neko to Ryuu, I will love you you until your dying day, 100 girlfriends.
I think WuWa has really nice storytelling and I enjoy it personally. I can appreciate the creative events they come up with but scaling difficulties and time sink isn't something I can afford to spend time on so I usually end up skipping them myself. I enjoy Re:Zero but sometimes I feel like the storywriting is made deliberately to make you get frustrated with Subaru a lot, it's like a you enjoy and hate him at the same time haha
Been mainly playing Wuthering Waves and Palworld.
Both games really came a long way since their launch! I'm looking forward to see how they improve further in due time!
It's so good to hear from you Reine! I hope you are doing well. I've pretty much stopped playing gacha games besides Nikke. I dropped Honkai, Genshin, Girl's Frontline, etc. Bleach had just released new episodes for the new arc, so that's the anime I'm watching. I'm currently playing FF7 Rebirth and its made me fall in love with the Final Fantasy universe all over again. From listening to the OSTs and watching videos about them. Don't work too hard and always take care of yourself Reine, your health is very important! ( ﾉ^ω^)ﾉ
Hey Peetweet! good to hear from you again! I think at some point I was trying to juggle multiple gacha games myself and burned out from it. At some point I was playing Arknights, Fate, Genshin, Star Rail, ZZZ all at the same time. It was so time consuming and unhealthy. Now I just play WuWa and mainly for just the story progression. I've heard so much good things about Rebirth! I recall playing it briefly at friends house some years back, might have to pick it up again! Thank you! I hope you're taking good care of your health too Peetweet!
Glad to hear from you again! I'm on a gacha cleanse, mostly been playing just Where Winds Meet now which is a lot of fun. I usually watch a bunch of anime every season, this season I'm mostly interested in this final arc of Bleach TYBW, it's been so good
I noticed Where Winds Meet got first place in mobile games award! Another awesome game I kinda want to try if I had more time. Haha is there such a thing called final arc of Bleach? I feel like they'll continue to build more stories for it in the future!
👀 S3 of the 100 GFs Who Reallyx5 love you anime is quite enjoyable as an adaptation. Currently in a light novel phase since one of my favorites has finally released vol 10~ (Housekeeping Mage from another world) with all the villainess and otome isekai anime adaptations happening I have my fingers crossed this will will get an adaptation that can do it justice.
I have no read light novels for years now. Jeez I think the last one I read was Danmachi and To Aru Majutsu no Index... both of whom weren't finished at the time (I don't even know if they're finished now). Is 100 GF who really x 5 loves you that good? Maybe I'll need to add it to my backlog!
Wuthering Waves is my daily so I'm definitely your current target audience 😅 Besides WuWa, I play Path of Exile (1 and 2) back and forth. And when I can, I knock out a single player game which the past few days has been Star Wars: Zero Company.
Mmm I heard so much good stuff about PoE2! Been meaning to try it but I'm worried it'll end up becoming a huge time sink which I can't afford right now. Haha good too see there is a target audience! I think I've been hooked on the story since Rinascita though if I'm being super honest, current story feels a bit hit or miss for me. Lahai Roi was just that much of a great storywriting I guess haha.
Me I've only ever really been playing stuff from Mica team (Girls Frontline, project neural cloud, exilium) consistently anything else outside of that has been just whatever I'm enjoying or want to play. From Yu-Gi-Oh (which just ended the world's championship), to Helldivers, Ultrakill, Warhammer 40K tabletop, Project Wingman, Ace Combat (Waiting for 8: Wings of Theive to arrive this end of the month) it's been incredibly varied. The final thing has been Fortnite with the little one.
I've recently started watching lore videos of 40k and have been enjoying learning about the world building surrounding 40k! Also downloaded SpaceMarine 2 but haven't had the time to really sink my teeth into it even though I have a feeling I'll be hooked for weeks. I was also a huge fan of Ace Combat since AC5 days.
Friend talked me into watching berserk
I personally think Manga is way better than the animated series. They skipped over a lot of details which I thought were very crucial to the world building of Berserk
I have been hopelessly addicted to Deadlock recently, and Umamusume to a lesser degree.
I just looked up Deadlock, looks pretty cool and reminds me a bit of OG Overwatch kinda!
Been playing Nikke doing dailies trying my best to not buy every slightly cool or interesting costume and avoid paying to be able to level stuff to beat story fights 😵💫
Haha hang in there! NIKKE really surprise me all the time with how well they design their characters and the outfits they wear.
I've unfortunately been playing Mabinogi again, against better judgement. It is nice not having to lose money playing gacha again, though.
Oh, was Mabinogi fun? The new game's graphics came out pretty nicely and reminds me how much I enjoyed the old characters lol!
I got back into The First Descendant after not playing for almost a year, and I wanted to take a break from Warframe.
I couldn't really get into third person shooters myself, I think the last one I tried was Overwatch. But I heard great things about Warframe!
