im using creality slicer 1.2.3 and one of the files STL_Gallows_Supported will not load, tried re-downloading from the google drive and it still does not show up. the base on some of the plague chanters did the same thing

Nice surprise to get my first 3D printer AND immediatly cool...ratmen...get previewed. Came here for the underwater gribblies - especially the quasi-trolls - and stayed for the giant rat ogre executioner. If there's more vermin coming plus 1 for rat swarms and plus 10000 for stitched together rat(like) critters large and small. PS: Hi

M Warwick · February 28, 2021

Does the height for the 32mm Shadow Molars include the base, or is it measured from the top of the base?

W
Warren · March 7, 2021

If you plan to say use them for warhammer. They are kinda big. I haven't tried yet to scale them down slightly for mordheim but plan to atleast try.

Interesting models but Skavens are not my thing I thin I will sit down this one

T
Tim Bieler · February 28, 2021

Oh my god, I signed up to get the sea creatures because my son loves anything to do with the sea, I was going to bow out after that but I have always liked Skaven but never started an army. Well done Archvillian, you have sucked me in again. I shall stick around.

j

Ah yes, the definitely-not-Skaven rat people. I love these. Not sure which my favorite is, but it might be the little guy with the bombs. They've all got so much character!

Well last month I signed up for me because I love twisted underwater stuff, then you go and make gorgeous sculpts for my husband's favorite army. They are phenomenal!

S
Scott B · February 21, 2021

I'll admit that my first reaction was that I don't need ratmen for anything so I kind of went "meh". But then I remembered that I have a game called The Witchborn, and these will be perfect for a warband for that or several other skirmish games. Now I'm excited!

Must be crazy to not sub for the whole year, Jeeeez these are amazing!

B
Boss Salvage · February 21, 2021

Great stuff with a lot of tabletop application - the (doom) wheel is particularly appreciated, and wow that broodmom O_O

M
Mateusz Kołakowski · February 21, 2021

Wow, the Bishop is such an amazing sculpt. I really love it.

A
Andre Ortiz · February 21, 2021

absolutely amazing! Really really awesome work here! My only complaint and I hate to word it like that lol but I wish there was a more “plague monk-ish” aesthetic model added with a pose or 2 of variation. Like hooded staff and dagger or the book holding one. That would have put the cherry on top!

S
SanctusLetum · February 21, 2021

Well, I am going to have a bunch of great skaven substitutes and kitbash fodder, on top of DnD material. I was already planning on writing skaven into my DnD lore for my table, so this is perfect. Love it when you guys drop models that work so well for Age of Sigmar and DnD both.

R
Raul Gonzalez · February 21, 2021

This is awesome, I love skavens and I've allways wished to print my own ones this cool I hope you do more armies of another race! Incredible job!

C

Tell me you are pondering what I'm pondering. A palanquin for the bishop and the Rat King or am I breaking out the modeling tools?

M

V
Vaughn Reynolds · February 22, 2021

As a northerner, I agree XD

h
heksenhaus · February 21, 2021

as someone who prints mostly for painting/display models and has always been disappointed by gw's skaven models, i am super excite to paint these!

T
Treebeard · February 21, 2021

That's a whole lotta awesome Wererat nastiness! I approve. A lot of potential here. But I agree with GH that the Executioner is probably my least favorite. Anybody else hear the King on the throne shouting, "Inconceivable!" Only thing I don't really get is the wheel - if it's moving forward, won't the rats on top get mashed? Is that the idea? If so, why do they not seem to be aware? Or are they using it as a very temporary mode of transportation - a jumping off point to attack? I'm pretty sure I'm just missing something.

A
Archvillain Games · February 21, 2021

Our interpretation is that all rats on the wheel model are able to move in the scene along with the wheel. However, you guys may interpret the art in any way you want :)

Sadly, if this is the full preview, there is nothing in it that I would ever use as a full model, only perhaps to slice and make use of the bases. I wasn't interested in the theme on the poll compared to the other options when another 3d model patreon creator had it win on their poll months earlier, and their set only had the bases and modular terrain as anything I would use either. Guess slicing for bases and paying in order to later get loyalty rewards for consecutive months are the only reason I'll be backing in March, given what has been shown. It is great for those who like them, but for me it stylistically isn't easy enough to modify to be something else in my settings, is too rooted in medieval design for post-apocalyptic or 80s retro settings (the only ones I might have used them for without modification), and they're all clearly designed as monsters instead of potential protagonists. The quality, as always, is exceedingly detailed. It just isn't for me at all, and while some might say not to comment on that, having a patreon creator hear the reasons why might have some effect on future design choices. For me: -Too specific in design to imply medieval fantasy versus a broader range of time, given some of the design choices utilized. -None look like they could be a protagonist, more befitting a small army only. -All have a male or genderless appearance, nothing feminine or androgynous for potential protagonist characters, or other social interaction. The hobby already has more than enough male characters and monsters, and few that are even genderless, let alone female or androgynous. I personally am really always on the lookout for those, and I know a lot of others who are as well, always praising it when it gets done right. -The overall design is highly detailed, yet it doesn't really provide much of a story, save three figures, and they're extremely narrow in that niche to the point of not fitting in something that might have been more farcical or light-hearted at least. That limits a lot of game potential, though it does help sell that particular story aspect. The issue is, none of those three are in motion, and have design elements that feel like they should be rooted in place, instead of moving across the map. Maybe if those elements had been separate, yet able to be put up next to the base, it wouldn't have felt as static for them. -The design screams that they're supposed to be in caves or sewers underground, yet the armor and weapons imply extremely well-made craftsmanship. Stitching all over and holes would have sold it being underground in one fashion better, because it appears more like a schism between the two design elements as it is.
