"What begins as murder at the Midnight Bazaar unravels into a conspiracy of spirits and sorrow. Masks whisper to masks, spirits guide the living towards frozen ruins, and righteous grief has birthed a machine of endless retribution. From smugglers’ market to an ethereal sanctuary, heroes must choose: break the cycle of vengeance, or let the masks claim them too."

🎨Archvillain Games 2025 Painting Contest🎨

The holiday season is near and December is upon us. As you know there will not be Monthly Round on December, but in a few days we will announce the winners of the November Round, who along with the winners of October's Monthly Round will compete on the Fourth Quarter Final for the last places on the Grand Final, where 8 amazing artists will compete, on each category to win our 2025 Painting Contest of each category and of course get the amazing prizes of our sponsors AMERALABS, HEYGEARS and THE ARMY PAINTER.

Which artists will get the laurels and the treasure? Let us know your favourites.

If you still do not know about the updates on this 2025 Painting Contest, this is what you need to know:

In which categories can you participate?

On every Monthly Round there are two categories:

Monthly Collection Category: In this category, participants may submit only photos of painted models released during the month they are entering, which may be from either the Fantasy or Sci-Fi collection of that month.
Classic Category: In this category, participants may submit photos of painted models released in any month before the month they are entering and may be from any of our past Fantasy or Sci-Fi collections. So, yes, you can use any model from Archvillain Games Collection except for the current month's ones.

What are the prizes?

These are the prizes for the september Monthly Round for each category:

1st place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + The Army Painter Speedpaint Starter Set or Wet Palette + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
2nd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
3rd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

If you want to know more about the Quarterfinals prizes, and the contest’s Rules & Guidelines you can check them here.

How do you enter the contest?

Post on social media before the end of the month a photo of your painted mini mentioning us and using the category hashtag for the category that you want to participate in. The hashtag for the Monthly Release Category is #MonthlyArchvillain and for the Classic Category is #ClassicArchvillain. Also remeber to mention AMERALABS, HEYGEARS and THE ARMY PAINTER too.

Here you can check the social media where you can post your participation and other alternative ways to submit your participation.

Disclaimer:

Archvillain Games will decide the winners for each Monthly round and Quarter Finals.
Archvillain Games will consider the project's originality, technique, and utilization of Archvillain Games miniatures.
Monthly rounds and Quarter Finals of the contest will be judged by the Archvillain Games team.
The 2025 final will be decided by a jury that will be announced in advance.

Finally, we want to thank our contest sponsors: AMERALABS, HEYGEARS and THE ARMY PAINTER, so if you want to support them too, go and check their products.

Is there still a free 5e adventure this month? I can't seem to find it within this post or any emails.
