Painting Contest: September Monthly Round Winners!

This month we are a bit later than usual, but here we are with the results of the September round. Which and so have the three second monthly rounds of our 2025 Painting Contest.

The fate of September's round has been decided, and our jury has chosen the winners. These six talented winners complete the Third Quarter Final, which starts today. Beyond what they will achieve in the Third Quarter Final, they have already won fantastic prizes from our great contest sponsors: AMERALABS and THE ARMY PAINTER.

We also want to congratulate all participants, whether they have won or not. Also, we want to remind all of you that you still have two chances to get a place in the last Quarter Final. Yes, only two more chances: October and November Rounds, as the last Quarter Final will be in December, so it will not be December Monthly Round. If you have any doubts, you can check the contest's Rules & Guidelines or ask us directly.

With no more delay, here are the winners in each category for the September Round:

For the Monthly category, where, as you know, only painted minis from our September releases can participate, we are happy to announce that the winners of the Monthly Category for the September Round are:

• 1st place: Roll.for.miniature for his painting work on Bathydon Devourer.

• 2nd place: Mikhail Lysenko for his painting work on Tyrant Gloryseeker.

• 3rd place: Jaakko Sippola for his painting work on Oceansilt Eelwyrmr.

Let's go now to the Classic Category winners! This new category for 2025, where participants can enter with any previous Archvillain Games mini, except the current month's release models. Many have participated in this category, so it has been even tougher to pick the winners in the Classic Category, and here they are:

• 1st place: Kroxigor_sandwich for his painting work on Mato Rider.

• 2nd place: Goodhand.s for his painting work on Executioner.

• 3rd place: Nic Baker for his painting work on Fionrirr.

Congratulations to all winners who qualify for the Third Quarter Final, which starts today. But that is not their only reward; they are also getting some amazing prizes from our sponsors, which we detail for those of you who have not checked them before.

• 1st place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + The Army Painter Speedpaint Starter Set or Wet Palette + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

• 2nd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

• 3rd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final +  3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

THIRD QUARTER FINAL

After this announcement airs, all winners from the third quarter rounds will receive the indications by email. We will provide them with a selection of models for the category they are participating in, and they will have to pick one from the options. Once they finish their art, they will have to submit their entry in the same way as in the monthly rounds, but this time, they will need to use the hashtag #MonthlyArchvillainQF3 for the Monthly Release Category and the hashtag #ClassicArchvillainQF3 for the Classic Category. Of course, they must mention our social media account so we do not miss their entries, and for better reach, also mention Ameralabs and The Army Painter accounts. The deadline for the Third Quarter Final is the 5th of November.

Finally, for those who still do not know about our 2025 painting contest, you can check the Rules and Guidelines of the contest, where you will find all you need to know about its structure, categories, prizes, how to participate, and much more.

Remember that the October round is one of the two chances to get a place in the Fourth Quarter Final, which grants two places for each category for the 2025 Grand Final.

To say goodbye to the September Round, let's congratulate the winners again for their splendid pieces and wish you all the best of luck on the October Round. And best of luck also on the Third Quarter Final to the three previous rounds winners; we expect you to show all your game if you want a place in the 2025 Grand Final.
