Painting Contest: August Monthly Round Winners!
Summer is about to end, and August did so a few days ago, so it's time to reveal the winners of last month's round.
The fate of August's round has been decided, and our jury has chosen the winners. These six talented winners have got a place in the Third Quarter Final, which will take place in October. Beyond what they will achieve in the Quarter Final, they have already won fantastic prizes from our great contest sponsors: AMERALABS and THE ARMY PAINTER.
We also want to congratulate all participants, whether they have won or not. Every month, your pieces are awesome, and it is not easy at all for our jury to pick the winners.
Finally, just a reminder that the September Round has already started, and it is the last chance to qualify for the Third Quarter Final, which will take place in October. If you have any doubts, you can check the contest's Rules & Guidelines or ask us directly.
With no more delay, here are the winners in each category for August's Round:
For the Monthly category, where, as you know, only painted minis from our August releases can participate, we are happy to announce that the winners of the Monthly Category for the August Round are:
1st place: Mikhail Lysenko for his painting work on Triceras Bulwark.
2nd place: Carlos Federico Tewes for his painting work on Triceras Bulwark.
3rd place: Scott Snyder for his painting work on Agama Chachikotl.
Let's go now to the Classic Category winners! This new category for 2025, where participants can enter with any previous Archvillain Games mini, except the current month's release models. Many have participated in this category, so it has been even tougher to pick the winners in the Classic Category, and here they are:
1st place: Paint_wee_guys for his painting work on Keravnos - Storm Giant King.
2nd place: Ron Maiden for his painting work on Hoggmog Borgos.
3rd place: Ákos Tímár for his painting work on Vorgathee.
Congratulations to all winners who qualify for the Third Quarter Final, which will take place in October.. But that is not their only reward; they are also getting some amazing prizes from our sponsors, which we detail for those of you who have not checked them before.
1st place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + The Army Painter Speedpaint Starter Set or Wet Palette + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

Finally, for those who still do not know about our 2025 painting contest, you can check the Rules and Guidelines of the contest, where you will find all you need to know about its structure, categories, prizes, how to participate, and much more.
Remember that the September's Round is the last chance to get a place in the Third Quarter Final, which grants two places for each category for the 2025 Grand Final.
To say goodbye to the August Round, let's congratulate the winners again for their splendid pieces and wish you all the best of luck on the September Round. Looking forward to your entries.
