MARCH WINNERS ARE....
A quarter of 2025 has passed, and so have the three first monthly rounds of our 2025 Painting Contest.
The fate of the third round (March) has been decided, and our jury has chosen the winners. These six talented winners complete the First Quarter Final, which starts today. Beyond what they will achieve in the Quarter Final, they have already won fantastic prizes from our great contest sponsors: AMERALABS and THE ARMY PAINTER.
We also want to congratulate all participants, whether they have won or not. Every month, the competence grows, and choosing the winners gets tougher.
Finally, just a reminder that the April round has already started. Along with the prizes, winners will qualify for the Second Quarter Final, which will take place in July. If you have any doubts, you can check the contest's Rules & Guidelines or ask us directly.
With no more delay, here are the winners in each category for the March Round:
For the Monthly category, where, as you know, only painted minis from our March releases can participate, we are happy to announce that the winners of the Monthly Category for the March Round are:
1st place: Steven Rutherfordr for his painting work on Moonmane Howler.
2nd place: Rachid Hadjeb for his painting work on Dreavan.
3rd place: Samantha Millar for her painting work on Selenoprosopos.
Let's go now to the Classic Category winners! This new category for 2025, where participants can enter with any previous Archvillain Games mini, except the current month's release models. Many have participated in this category so it has been even tougher to pick the winners in the Classic Category, and here they are:
1st place: Rafał Łodyga for his painting work on Morior Iron Guard.
2nd place: Dejansibul for his painting work on Slaughtersteel Golem.
3rd place: DavTeeMiniatures for his painting work on Kor’garal Gorogg.
Congratulations to all winners who qualify for the first Quarter Final, which starts today. But that is not their only reward, they are also getting some amazing prizes from our sponsors, which we detail for those of you who have not checked them before.
1st place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 2 bottles of resin by Ameralabs + The Army Painter Speedpaint Starter Set or Wet Palette + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
2nd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
3rd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
FIRST QUARTER FINAL
Right after this announcement airs, all the winners from the first 3 rounds will receive the indications. We will provide them with a selection of models according to the category they are participating in, and they will have to pick one from the given options. Once they finish their art, they will have to submit their entry in the same way as in the monthly rounds, but this time, they will need to use the hashtag #MonthlyArchvillainQF1 for the Monthly Release Category and the hashtag #ClassicArchvillainQF1 for the Classic Category. Of course, they must mention our social media account so we do not miss their entries.
Finally, for those who still do not know about our 2025 painting contest, you can check the Rules and Guidelines of the contest, where you will find all you need to know about its structure, categories, prizes, how to participate, and much more.
Remember that the April round is the first chance to get a place in the Second Quarter Final, which grants two places for each category for the 2025 Grand Final.
To say goodbye to the March Round, let's congratulate the winners again for their splendid pieces and wish you all the best luck on the April Round. And best of luck also on the First Quarter Final to all previous rounds winners; we expect you to show all your game if you want a place in the 2025 Grand Final.
