HERE ARE THE WINNERS OF THE JANUARY ROUND OF OUR NEW 2025 PAINTING CONTEST!

Hey everyone, as you know we have renewed our Painting contest for 2025 with a new structure, a new category, and more prizes!

We are excited to announce the January winners in each category, who are the first ones to qualify for the first Quarter Final Round that will take place in April 2025. But before making the announcement, we want to say that the number of participants and quality have increased even more, it looks like you are already enjoying the new 2025 contest and we are super excited about it.

With no more delay, here are the winners in each category for the January Round:

For the Monthly category, where, as you know, only painted minis from our January releases can participate, we are happy to announce that the winners are:

  • 1st place: Mrandypuppy for his painting work on Nimrithal - The Spirit of the Valley.

Motley colors' choice so graciously combined in harmony brought the elemental spirit of Nimrithal to the crest of the monthly competition

  • 2nd place: Johanna Johnson by Alytheris - Bloomwyrm.

''A picture paints a thousand words'', they say! Thus, Αlytheris found his specifying attribute as Bloodwyrm in that adequate painting execution and the originality of the Dragon Butterfly style wings.

  • 3rd place: Carlos Federico Tewes for his painting work on Sapdrinker Dryad.

Bloody roots, macabre trophies, and the brown literally in its every shade would discourage anyone from wandering the Saprdrinker Dryad's tenebrous woods.

Let's now go to the Classic Category winners! This is a brand new category for 2025, where participants can enter with any previous Archvillain Games mini, except the current month's release models. We know picking a mini among all our creations is difficult, but the level has been high!

The winners of the Classic Category for the January Round are:

  • 1st place: Spitz737 by Geomancer.

The fire orange from the mines straight through, the king's vermillion red as an omen, and the sparkling azure blue equivalent to the invaluable dwarves' gem stones imaginarily transferred us in the depths of Khazzad's Realm.

  • 2nd place: Jano_miniature_painting with the Dark Elf Adept.

How fittingly does the green venomous illusion cover this reckless dark elf mage? But, nothing could reach in that miniature the highly and impressively depicted details.

  • 3rd place: Jd Hardin for his painting work on Jotungard Golem.

The intense metallic colors choice made not just the difference here, but also made that golem appear like a real ice creature in our minds.

Congratulations to all winners who qualify for the first Quarter Final that will take place in April, but that is not their only reward, they will also be getting some amazing prizes from our sponsors that we detail for those of you who have not checked them before.

  • 1st place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 2 bottles of resin by Ameralabs + The Army Painter Speedpaint Starter Set or Wet Palette + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

  • 2nd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

  • 3rd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final +  3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.

We also want to stress how hard it has been to select the winners, congratulations to all participants for an amazing first January Round. So, for all of you who have not won this month, don’t give up and keep up the good work as there are still 6 places left in each category for the First Quarter Final and you can still claim them by participating in the next two months!

Finally for those, who still do not know about our 2025 painting contest, here you can check the Rules and Guidelines of the contest, where you will find all you need to know about its structure, categories, prizes, how to participate, and much more.

So that is all for today, let’s all give a (digital) round of applause one more time to the January winners! We are also happy to remind you all that the February round is already on and you can submit your paintjob of our minis until February 28th. Happy painting and let us know your opinion about all these great paint works on the comments.
