House Party 0.8.0 (Alpha) Status Update
`Hey everyone!
We started work this week on House Party 0.8.0 Alpha. This Alpha build will be centered around Amy's story, as she overwhelmingly won the poll I put out for $20+ supporters as the next story focus.
At the same time, our new writer, Henry, will be working on a brand new story tentatively titled "Date Night With Brittney". This will be released as well with the Alpha and will be a completely new story you can select from the game's drop-down menu, and will include full voice-acting! We've begun internally play-testing his story, and his writing style fits in really well with the theme of the game, but it's also very different from mine. We feel it will be a great addition to the game!
Aside from a LOT of new story, we will be introducing some new mechanics, new game models, and will be optimizing the game more.
0.8.0 is set to release to $15+ Patrons on 11/23/17.

New story about Amy and Brittney, then "some new mechanics" and new models.....wait the latter two are the big improvments (story can be done by users) but no much explanation, I guess new mechanics and models are used by the new stories so no explanation to avoid spoilers.
That's correct. We usually focus new functionality and model updates around the characters whose stories we are working on. It's our feeling too, that adding new mechanics and models are the more important aspects, but there is still a huge demand for more official and voice-acted content despite the story creator community. We are simply putting our focus and gauging our feedback against the most vocal part of the player community.

make house bigger would definitely make it better. its hard to make story around the house as it is. adding a guest house in back would be an ideal?
could you imagine if they had a mansion to play in with a few more characters it would make it more interesting to try and find objects you need and big change of environment. i cant wait to see all the new things you guys make and to see where amy's story takes us keep up the great work :D
