Ho'boy, another build right out of the oven~ This one's all about the Dating System :)

So this is Build 0.48.1, which is pretty much all Dating System. If you're interested in a bit of theory and what kind of work went into building this system, check out the Devlog Video.

Like I mentioned in a previous build, all we really needed to do is get the date battles working and then we'd have a full game flow in! By that, I mean you can get to know a girl, do her quests, date her all the way til you can marry her. We just need to add the fun bits at the end, and we're all good to go ;)

Just a quick note, some things are still WIP (like the Kiss scenes).

While everything is functional at this point (barring any bugs that pop-up of course), there are a few things I'd like to build upon our existing system. This game was meant to be a classic Sim Date, which meant most of the challenge comes from answering questions that the girls have, but I think that definitely shouldn't limit us from add onto that formula.

Aside from the multiple dating locations and more questions, I was thinking of adding scenarios where you have to use your Personality stats, or using correct items, during the date. It's something I've definitely been considering to spice things up a bit more.

If you have any thoughts on that, I'd love to hear it!

For our next build, I'm thinking of putting together the Front-End (menus and Dairy Intro scene) together. And possibly looking to grind through the artwork and Climax Events. I'm on a small trip for work on the first week of next month, so I'm gonna see what kinda work I can do away from my computer.

But anyways, thank you for joining me on this journey! I really do appreciate it. We will get there ;)
