The Future of Barely Alive on Patreon
Hello Keyboard Killers, Basement Dwellers, Zombie Hunters and Arsonists!
We feel incredibly lucky to have built such a great community of like minded producer nerds here on our Patreon. We love how Patreon allows creators to harness the power of crowdfunding to inspire us to step outside our box of "dubstep producers" and make all kinds of fun content and interact with our friends. When COVID took over last year, we were incredibly thankful that so many of you were able to continue supporting us, and we even managed to continue growing over the past year.
We are always trying to think of new fun things we can do here on Patreon with you guys. It was always meant to be an ever-evolving process from the beginning. That said we are going to be suspending all of our upper tiers, leaving just the Zombie Hunter tier for now. We need to take some time to come up with new plans for the future and decide where we want to go with Patreon. We hope to be back early next year with new ideas for content and a much better strategy for advertising and bringing in more people to our little creative club. Our goal is to hit 1000 Patrons next year, so don't worry, we will be back and stronger than ever.
This is where you come in -- we would love to hear feedback from all of you! What do you love about the Barely Alive Patreon? What do you miss about some of the older benefits we did? What's something you wish we would do in the future? Please comment on this post, and we will be happy to discuss ideas with you all.
In the meantime, we want all of our content to be available still, so we are making a tier called "All Our Old Stuff," so you can pay just $20 once and get access to everything we've ever posted here! We will also be continuing to post our music for download on the Zombie Hunter tier.
Thank you all so so much for being our biggest supporters, and don't forget to leave a comment!

I hope you don't let die your patreon I love you so fucking much guys... if you can drop the Jungle Demon project file I will be so happy but bruh we're in 2023 LET'S REVIVE THIS PATREON
That new ca$h vip at boo!
Please give us the Project for your Sugar Rush remix or for Chasing Ghosts (Original Mix) in both are crazy Sounds. Prowaaaaaaaiiiiiiuuuhhhhhhhhh!!! :D
What I can say is it's amazing peeps get access to production tools like project files and presets and stuff. I really love the experimental patreon-only releases. So personally i'm not a producer so it's a bit expensive to pay the money for the KK-tier to get access to your p exclusive music. It would be nice and attracting for more people who aren't producers to become a patron if you give access to the experimentals for a little less money.
Oh, one more thing. Since the patreon, discord, and youtube videos are all really tools for us to be the best artist... I fucking LOVED seeing my little name in the credits of videos. If i remember correctly some of our remixes were featured at the end of videos, etc.
Hey Gents, I joined with great excitement for remix competitions. I'd love to see that going again, even if they are stems of "random stuff." ie, like one of your guys cool trap/80's style keyboard stuff, ya know, the unreleased stuff. I think competitions amongst the patreon community in general will really boost the comradery and chatter in patreon. I wouldn't mind seeing the "meanest growl" competition. Just some 1 bar little "wompgrrrrrarrrr" over a sub. Winner makes a "tutorial" on their design, maybe that gets shared amongst the discord. Last thing, and I hope it doesn't come off as extra, like extra as fuck... I'm really going to try and make an upcoming show - I know venues, managers, labels, all that stuff has headaches, but how f'n cool would it be as a top tier patreon to get the "high five" after or before a show or something. Just a passing thought. I know alot of discord folks are spread out around the world.
Track Feedback and possible track plays at the credits was something to look forward to.
Only Patreon I follow. You guys have done so much for the dubstep community over the years, I wonder how many guys have “made it” now because of your early on YouTube tutorials! You have my full support forever on this thing. I personally think the project files have been the best, as a longtime listener and producer myself it’s SO cool to see first hand the sounds and arrangements I’ve heard over the years, wondering how you did it! Keep it up
I love everything about this patreon page. This is the only patreon page I'm subbed to and I feel like there's so much value here. I personally love the song stems because making remixes is pretty tough without them, but I also really love the presets you guys give out. One thing I think would be cool in the future is some more in depth sound design tutorials. I can't wrap my head around some of the sounds you guys make and would love to know how that is done! Thanks for everything you guys do for us!
Can’t wait to see what you guys will have in mind! I know you guys are busy but maybe bringing back the track feedback feature would be the most insane comeback. I really enjoy having the project files to break down as well, very helpful. I will definitely continue to support you guys, and I hope you guys will continue to be the most badass people ever! ****EDIT I would also like to note that this is the only Patreon I sub to, I hope me along with the others who have mentioned this detail tell you both how much value your Patreon has to us fans and I hope you are inspired to keep up the good work the same way you inspire all of us fans to do the same :)
