Ya Baysic!
Felixandre & Hey Harrie are back with yet another collaboration, but this time it is for that simpler life! It's great to have unique one of a kind pieces in your Sims’ homes, but sometimes it's the Baysic items that are missing. This set of 91 items aims to solve the problem for the living, dining, kitchen and bedroom.
Kitchen: Two fully fledged kitchens with not only a rainbow of colour swatches, but also special accent counters, appliance units, fridge nooks and colour co-ordinated appliances. Not forgetting the new kitchen prep trolley & clutter pieces to turn your house into a home.
Dining: A set of matching dining tables in 3 sizes along with a matching dining chair and pendant lighting
Living: Full suite of matching sofa, love seat and armchair, plus your favourite ‘Needs No Introduction’’ accent armchair, along with matching side & coffee table and lighting options for every area of the room
Bedroom: The most requested item has finally been brought to life! The ‘Packs Wardrobe System’ enables you to create a custom built in wardrobe with 3 different cupboard fronts that snap into place and allow you to create an infinite amount of colour combinations to suit your room design perfectly. Of course there is a matching set of double, single and toddler bed frames and comfy bedding
99.9% of the items are Base Game compatible, however the ‘Colour Pop High Oven’ requires DHD to be fully functional. If you don’t own that pack the item will still place in game, but be purely decorative.
Also make sure to have auto counters turned off when placing built-in appliances, otherwise they disappear when placed. You can always turn auto counters back on once placed :)
You can find all of the items in the build/buy catalogue by searching BAYSIC, plus look out for the fun new item names introduced with this set.

NOTE: If you download the unmerged files you will need to make sure you have the complete suite of windows/ doors in your mods folder as textures are linked between items within the set. ie. all wardrobe elements share textures

the fridge nooks are broken for me :( is this due to the update or is there something i should do? love this set!!
when will the set be repaired? The oven doesn't work (it's not visible in the game) and the barstool doesn't work

I m just discovering you and your work is amazing, it s realistic and still match perfectly with EA original. And i feel ( wills oon test it) like it could go with almost anything. The mix of simplicity bit neutral and very nice is not an easy thing and from what i ve seen so far you master it

the single bed keeps disappearing when placed?! the double and toddler beds are fine??

I'm having a problem placing the beds when I place the frame then the mattress and it disappears. Am I doing something wrong?

you need to turn off auto counters for the built in appliances to place correctly

Hey Harrie! Just wanted to let you know that cc beddings are bugged with the new pack or update. Every other content works perfectly but beds are disappearing when placing them :)
Hi hi! Just wanted to let you know that baysics unmerged and merged is breaking my game and not allowing sims to eat and shows up as a last exception in MCCC. I'm not sure exactly what file in baysics is causing it and is the only mod/cc in giving me errors with the new update.
hey Harrie, are you and felix will update windows for new curved walls update soon? i would love the bafroom windows to be updated.
Unless the windows break we won’t be updating any of our past content to conform with the new curved walls. That requires making brand new meshes & we would rather focus on making new content

I like this lovely set, but I'm having trouble getting the ovens and hobs to work. Every time I place them they disappear, I get a red mark on the floor where they are placed and the kitchen cabinet itself "disappears" only the table top remains. I have a number of your and Felix's other CC packages but this is the only one that gives me problems.
Yes please make sure auto counters is switched off when placing the appliances. I do find sometimes my game bugs and acts like auto counters are on when I have them switched off. Just turning on and back off again usually fixes that issue

Hi hi! Thank you for the new set. It's gorgeous (as always). I'm having trouble in game with swatch selection on counters. All the colors pull up fine, but the selection of counter type (corner, left end, right end, etc) do not show up. If this is a glitch, how do I fix it?
Hi there looks like you have auto counters on, you'll need to turn that off to select the counter pieces
I've used these pieces in every build I've done since this pack came out and I'm still obsessed, you make packs that impress me every time I use them because they're so versatile and so trendy!

I absolutely love this pack! But unfortunately I'm having some trouble with it. The oven is always compleatly seethrough. This is also the case with the upper oven and in addition to that, I cannot place it. The second problem is with searching for the pack. It only shows 1/3 of all the objects.
There is a note about appliance placement in the post above. You need to make sure auto counters is turned off in order to place the appliances correctly. If you don’t do this the appliances will be invisible. When searching for the set you need to search via the keyword BAYSIC and select the top option of doing a text search to see all of the items

Love this but I've noticed that my sims have back ache from sleeping on a cheap mattress moodlett... I'm shouting at my sims telling them it wasn't cheap...
thats really strange the bedding has 10 comfort, energy and stress relief

the keyword in baysic , you need to select the top option to show all the items
