The Brutalist Bathroom

The Brutalist Bathroom Collection is a set of 27 new items for you guessed it, the bathroom. Of course as always there are more versatile pieces that can be used in every room of the house.

- Terrazzo & Concrete Floor Tiles
You can find the majority of these items by searching the keyword Brutalist in the build/buy catalogue, however you'll need to search for the 2 wallpapers and floor on your lonesome.
This set was inspired by a brutalist sideboard that I discovered on Pinterest and just had to have the same detailing in game. There are 2 different styles of vanity, so you can mix and match with the 2 sinks in the set for infinite combinations. The sinks snap to any large slot, so you can put onto other surfaces, just be aware that the animations won't look as they are supposed to if you put onto a much taller surface. The dining tables in game are the perfect height and also include large slots! The decorative half wall is exactly 1/4 tile deep, so enabling 1/4 tile placement with F5 is going to to make using them in combination with the vanity & toilet an easy and pain free process. Also the pill mirror appears to hang from the ceiling, but it is in fact a wall mirror. I discovered that sims don't know how to route to ceiling mirrors above sinks as there aren't any in game already! But you have all 3 wall height options so your mirror will always look connected to the ceiling.
There are so many little details I'd love to point out, but I don't want to type for too long, so look out tomorrow for a quick overview video of the set to show my thought process and what items I imagine combining together.
To keep file sizes smaller I have linked several of the textures across objects ie. the block vanity is comprised of 5 separate pieces, but all textures are linked from the centre piece. If you used my unmerged files, you will need to make sure you include all items in that mini set to have the textures appear in game.

Hey, I love this set, but does anyone have a problem with the characteristic shadows in the bathroom shelves/shelves in the sink?

Hello! Some of your cc since the last couple updates have shadows on them. The block vanity and few other peices specify. I have ran the batch updates from S4S and I aslo have tired with and without PC-TS4-DR-NoOccluderAppliances but its still there. Some of the other Some from Felx are like too. I'm not sure if its something in the graphic of I need to redownload.
Yes, I have the same problem. I have redownloaded multiple items from Harrie and Felix, but the shadow is the same. I really hope this can be fixed, as I love all items!
Hi! I think I have used the set in almost every build. Would there be a chance for terrazzo Walls?? I think it would look amazing with the terrazzo tiles in the set 😊

what does merged and unmerged mean?
merged means the entire set is included in one .package file, while unmerged means that each item from the set is its own individual .package file. The former is best to save space in your Mods folder and to reduce the chance of game lag a little bit, while the latter is best if you want to pick and choose which items from the set you want to download and/or sort your mods in a specific way.

Finally got a chance to design an apartment with this new pack and I love it. I think my favourite items are the Terrazzo pieces (esp. the flooring) because I love terrazzo. Which colour combo is your favourite with the concrete-like wall and the terrazzo countertop? Also, what do you recommend trying in combination with this pack for other parts of a build? I was thinking of the Brownstone collection.
I personally love the combination of the pink concrete with the high contrast black terrazzo. But also the ability to mix and match means you can try some more unusual combinations like the burnt orange terrazzo and pink concrete sink

It seems to do the same thing for the dark red (the more orangey red is seamless as well). It could be specific to my game, I don't know.

Hi, I really love the set, it's so beautiful! Thank you so much for what you do!!! One thing: I watched your video on the collection and when I place the "concrete shelf " item (which I love btw) it is tiled instead of smooth like the ones in your video (The "tiled shelf item" also comes out tiled, so that one works perfectly). Do you know if this could be a problem with the download or my game?
There are 2 versions of the shelf. One tiled and one seamless
