Brownstone Collection - Part Two
This month we focused on windows and doors, so that you could create the Brownstone of your dreams :)
The set includes:
- Steel Windows (1 tile): tall, medium, short
- Steel Windows (2 tile): tall, medium, short
- Steel Window Arched Topper
- Steel Bi-fold Doors: tall, medium, short
- Steel Double Doors: tall, medium, short
- Steel Double Arch: tall, medium, short
- Traditional Window 1: tall, medium, short
- Traditional Window 2: tall, medium, short
- Traditional Front Door: tall & medium
- Traditional Glass Arch: tall & medium
- Traditional Arch: tall & medium
- Traditional Stone Frame: tall & medium
- Brownstone Stone Wall
As there is plenty of cc to be released in the future this set now has shared textures between multiple items. For example there are 6 steel doors that all share the same textures, so for that small group of items I've been able to make the file size only 1/6th of what it would usually be. For those of you that used the merged version, there isn't any difference to the installation process, but for those that use the unmerged files, you will also need to make sure you include the "texture" files, to make sure everything appears correctly in game.
For keeping a more organised mods folder, I've made sure to include part 1 of the set into both the unmerged and merged download options.

hi, i love ur mods! unfortunately it seems like the windows in this pack are broken, the swatches all show up as rainbow with a question mark. i tried launching the game in dirext x9 but it still shows up that way
Hi Harrie! The brownstone hob doesn't seem to be setting on any counter tops. I've tried yours and base game, It highlights green but doesn't place. Any ideas please?
Please turn off auto counters when placing built in appliances. If auto counters is on they will be invisible

Hello! There doesn't appear to be a merged file anymore, the forge link only allows for downloading the unmerged set and all of the "merged" links I could find direct to said unmerged file.
Hi Harrie, love this- just wanted to point out that the merged link leads to curseforge, which downloads an unmerged file? Is there anywhere we could get the merged file?

Hey Harrie! ive downloaded part three, which as you said had all of the items from the parts before, however I can't find the arches anywhere, ive searched in every category and searched it up and I can't find them? could you give some assistance please?
If you mean the stone archways they are in the wall decor section of the buy catalogue. Also if you search brownstone in the bb catalogue all items from the set will be displayed 😊
I'm still having issues with the double windows for medium and short wall heights :( help

Hi Harrie! I love your work SOOOO very much! I don't think I have even one build that isn't filled with your CC! I did have a quick question for you! I noticed the hanging lights in the 4th picture and I don't think I've ever seen them before? I'm obsessed! Are they your CC??
they're from her country collection pack i think, i have them and i mainly only have her cc for build stuff
These are beautiful! Would you ever consider adding short doors and single tile windows/arches? Tall wall heights are gorgeous in real life but make sims look so tiny in my game. Cannot wait to see what you do next!! Love your work! 💗
Sorry I would never make these windows for the short wall height, I like to keep true to life with the proportions of both my cc and builds. I would never build in this style using the short wall height as these are grand buildings with tall ceilings that should be much taller than the sims living in them

Really grateful for your work. I love brownstones. Have you ever considered a boho, new agey type of apartment style? Im not talking crazy colors, but just lived in and comfy, not really neutral colors either. Just a thought.
I boho style is something I might be intersted in in the future, but there are a few techsniques I'd like to learn before I tackle this, so that I could translate the well lived & worn look into the game sucessfully
