šIntroducing DelSolš
Back in 2019 I stumbled across Kendall Jennerās Architectural Digest house tour and fell completely in love. Her LA home is such a stunning modern interpretation of Spanish Revival styleāwarm, earthy, and full of character without ever feeling old-fashioned. (That sink in the downstairs powder room literally stopped me deadāI swore one day Iād make it for The Sims š ).
The project was a collaboration between Kathleen & Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez, two design powerhouses whose work has such a distinctive, layered style. The Clements' book Eight Homes has become a big source of inspiration for me, and Iāll be drawing on that aesthetic throughout this set too.
So with that spark, Iām excited to announce DelSol šāa long-running CC collection thatās going to dive into spaces we donāt usually explore in sets. Think cinema rooms, artistsā studios, stylish dressing rooms, and much more. Itās going to be more expansive than anything Iāve done before, stretching across multiple months and touching nearly every room of the house.
Of course, thereās also going to be a bit of storytelling woven inā¦ letās just say some iconic sisters you might already know are moving to Del Sol Valley, and theyāll need a home that matches their glamorous, dramatic energy š
Of course, once Iād locked in the theme, I went back to check out the in-game Mission-style build items ā the ones I used to think were a solid staple. Letās just sayā¦ nah. We can do much better than that š
So hereās to sun-soaked walls, arched doorways, and a little drama ā DelSol is going to be a journey, and I canāt wait to take you along for the ride. If you want to see the exact vibe that first sparked this project, hereās Kendall Jennerās AD tour ā itās worth a watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjhibJ-OqxE

omg my friend just made me watch KJ's AD video last week and I am soooo hyped to see what you come up with, it's going to be amazing as always!
I watched that video and am really excited to see what you do. Right now I can't play my game at all. I had to remove all the mods and can only go in and decorate with EA stuff, no CC. Am totally heartbroken
Omg, I'm watching the tour and what an amazing house she has! I'm so curious to see which rooms/items you're going to recreate. There's certainly plenty to do. You might even surpass Felixandre in the number of sets he's created for the Estate collection.
I absolutely cannot wait for this!!!!šš„¹šššš

It's not the type of house I like, but I think it will turn out beautifully because Harrie is a true artist.

This is SUCH an exciting announcement! The number of hours I've spent trying to build the perfect modern hollywood spanish revival only to lose inspiration halfway through due to lack of items. So so so excited!
So exciting! Iāve been wanting a media room set from you or Felix for the longest time, and not many creators have done Spanish colonial style either.
