Chapterrrrrrr seven! Arc 6 crashes toward ... a climax? Well, not quite yet. I'm sure some of you are going to be very amused by this, seeing as I've established quite a pattern by now, but as of the time of writing this post, arc 6 will indeed be going to 9 chapters. The funny number is within reach! Ahem. I promise I didn't do this on purpose, it just turned out that chapter 8 needed a lot more space than I predicted it would, so once again the narrative has expanded to fit the expanding needs of the narrative; Octavia would approve. Handy thing, when narratives can do that!
Anyway, behind-the-scenes and technical matters aside, Octavia's magical girl adventure (???) continues once again! I hope you enjoy this chapter, dear readers, because I am having such an incredible time writing Maidens of the Fall for you all. Onward we go!

Everyone is just so confused by Octavia carrying around a Zoog. Like, that isn't a completely normal thing that people do? Excuse me, but if anything, Octavia is the only correct and normal person here. Quite frankly, EVERYONE should have a pocket Zoog. I don't understand how this hasn't become a thing?!?!
I know, right!? This is the most clear and overt sign of a terrible dystopia where everybody is thinking upside down. Who wouldn't want a pocket zoog of their own??? Octavia needs to post about this on the internet and start a new fashion!
