I feel like I just got beaten over the head with a big stick with the whole speil about the charging issues. Do people really not understand this stuff? Maybe I should try to not understand the charging issue so it could be interesting? I thought the rest of the video was great as always. You throw SO much animation into your delivery and I love that.
I wanted to explain it in a way that hopefully absolutely everyone could understand it. This of course came at the risk beating the people that already understand it over the head with a stick. I know it's very basic, but so many people I talked to about this didn't understand it at all. This includes the service advisor and service tech that I talked to

Even though automakers like GM have a huge dealer network, it doesn't help much if the service teams don't have the training or tools to fix electric vehicles.
Agree 100% that it should be setting a fault code. Smells like they know this is a problem and don't know how to fix it, so they intentionally don't set a code. Sorry I know I'm jaded but it's not my fault, I live in 2026.
They probably had to remove the bumper to replace the DRL
