The only thing I like about the bus was all the butt jokes.
Not gonna lie, I am a bit sad to see the Bus go. But sometimes a projects gotta end and go, and clearly its reached that point for you. So I hope having it off your plate helps lift your spirits and the new work space makes you joyous and inspired :D
The BLeND. short for buss-less-not-dungeon of course. Also: the reverb is strong with The BLeND. Maybe Turkish? BuLeND Japanese? BuLeNDo (google says that does not mean anything. too bad)
The chamber of broken cars. Also, just hit me that I haven't seen an under dunn video in a coons age. No ideas or abandoned channel?
Just realized that's actually the storage side >.>
The shop whose name shall not be spoken.
I know I said the "Big Usable Space" in jest on youtube, but the more I think about it...
It was the dungeon because it was dark and dingy. It's still a place for criminal cars, so why not the "Car Correctional Facility" Pun works on two levels.
the hafling hide out?
"The Operating Room"?
It's a shame the bus didn't get finished, but if it was weighing you down and no fun anymore, then screw it! Out with the old, in with the new (eternal) projects! Fwiw, you got further along than the Bad Obsession guys did with theirs 😂
I forgot about their bus! 🙂 Those are some nice vids, tho, the way those guys work together is fun to watch
The one problem that I'm surprised nobody has mentioned yet about calling it "The Busless Not-Dungeon" is that there is no audible difference between that and "The Busless Snot-Dungeon."
I'm so proud of you for not falling for any sunk-cost fallacy and giving up on the bus. The bussless not dungeon (TBND?) is to be envied.
I always love a good thing-naming! Bus Purgatory: Because it's where a bus stayed for a while until it moved on.
Let’s… go up to the lab, and… see… what’s on the slab. I can see you shiver with… anticip-p-p-pation. (Regarding room names.)
Don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but I absolutely love the rapid time lapse of all screws/cuts/assembly - it's got to be a handful of time putting it all together in post, but it's definitely my favourite part of the videos on this channel. I miss the woodworking shop videos from the past!
Can't call it the Dunn-geon? Clearly the only name allowed.
Ha! I remember The Pit! I mean, I started watching long after The Pit was gone, but I watched everything on the channel...
We visited the Lane Motor Museum today! And looks like you're doing "shop" right, no matter what you call it.
Did you want any parts to solo ? I sent an email of a video in a junkyard with a literal pile of them.
Those are all gen 3 solos. Mine share zero parts with those
In the spirit of the electrek uncar, I suggest you call it the UnDungeon! Also, I have a license plate collection of various assorted interesting plates, and a bus license plate from Missouri would be an interesting addition if you still have the plate and are willing to part with it!
We welcome the new Projectorium
The new shop is awesome.
I vote for just "The Dunngeon" now, you have an oubliette in there!
I’ve been watching your channel since the Saab, so I’m definitely familiar with the pit and I’m happy to see Mini Pit! Here’s to your new chapter, and new ideas!
I’m so happy to hear the new shop is doing so well for you! For names “aging workshop” feels a bit on the nose, maybe some sort of play on operating theater could be fun since so many of your projects wind up being exploritative surgery and you show all of us
The Operating Theater. It is exactly that. both where he operates and a theater. But, I am afraid, too on the nose for the current age.
This would’ve been cool to see come to fruition but if it doesn’t bring you joy then there’s no point. I think we’d all rather see projects you have fun doing
