I Bought Two ElectraMeccanica Solos

Wow! This ended up being a long one. I barely got it done on time. I went through everything in this video. The solos themselves, the history of ElectraMeccanica, the problems with my cars, and everything in between.
For the history segments, I added several disclaimers about the possible incorrectness of my information. A lot of the facts and figures came from one person and could very well be wrong. It's not that I don't believe him. It's that human memory is faulty and the bulk of what I asked him happened five or so years ago. That said, I'm confident most of the information is correct.

Robert, I just saw you're on the list for Opensauce! How cool! We bought our tickets the day they were announced and fly in Thursday evening for it. So excited for that weekend!
Hey Robert, we'd like to do a shout out on your little ElectraMeccanica - Do you have any non phone number bits of video we can use over at @TransportEvolved for a few seconds?
Absolutely! Message sent
You should blur the phone number you left on the white one. The guy is getting inundated with calls.
I've tried three times now. YouTube's blurring feature is very broken and won't let me do anything
My company is called G3 this video was confusing hahah
Is the plan now, to make project videos out of these? Fix the issues; like that overheating cut-out (from a single 0-60 run) and/or fuse-blowing short with the left blinker? Find or make the aero shields for the lights? Upgrade the bejesus out of them, assuming you can find batteries that fit, motor(s), controllers, charging bits, AC stuff, etc? If a lot of the 'guts' at off-the-shelf, maybe you can make the ultimate G1 Solo?
This can be a palette cleanser. The Escape has tons of one-off issues, parts availability, etc. With the Solo, since it uses so many stock parts, it could be a little side quest.
Between this and the Out of Spec motoring escape from Florida video there's no shortage of content to enjoy this weekend!
There's also some other vids out ... Legit Street, Electric SuperCar, WaamBaam Tesla Cam, and of course, the best one ... Rob Dunn.
Timely! They just "merged" with the delivery truck maker Xos a few days ago, which apparently needed a lot of cash, and AM had a lot of cash sitting around because the 2010s were craaaazy for VC funding https://xosandemv.com/
Oh dang. I didn't know the merger completed. My video is immediately out of date
They look generated by AI that doesn't quite understand Cars lol 😆 also the fact you can just buy the programmer for these things is amazing!
I am super excited for this video!
