[Resolved] Gumroad Account Temporarily Suspended
Update 8/2/2024
After waiting for the support that is an actual human, not the auto message bot I finally got the confirmation about the safe of products, as well as unsuspended! My Gumroad shop is now back to work again.
This time it makes me think that I should find alternative places to sell past content like Gumroad. I got many nice recommended ones thanks to everyone. I'll let you guys know later!
Thank you very much for all of your support, once again! (´꒳`)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone!
I have just received an email from Gumroad that my Gumroad page has been temporarily suspended due to the reason for selling NSFW-related content...?
I guess that non-explicit fanservice at the level I always do is not even allowed there.
I'm sorry for people who can't see my Gumroad page now. I'll try my best to find a solution to it as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your support!

I thought this trash thing happens only in my country korea. (we're prohibited see or play adults contents especially Steam adult games) And I'm really happy to see fixed that! your artworks always makes me smile.
Thank you very much for your kind words and support! I'm sorry to hear that! My country also has a similar thing, especially with imported adult products. Luckily they don't ban Steam games. ( ; ω ; )
Yeah definitely glad that you got that fixed. A gumroad is such a pain in the ass sometimes with how much it tries to use automation instead of actual people. Stuff does eventually get fixed correctly but they really like to pretend they don't have any control sometimes.
Thank you very much! Yes, that instant bot-reply I received earlier really pisses me off when it doesn't even answer what I ask. Glad a friend said I had to reply to that bot email again, then an actual human from support team replied to me later.
What other places to host your art pacls were you recomended?
There are so many of them but now Patreon's Shop and Itch.io are two that meet requirements for receiving online money in my specific country.
Yay happy you got it fixed
Thank you very much! ♥
Yay!!! Its back! I'm excited to buy more packs!
Thank you very much!! (*´▽`*)
What! This is so sad, I was looking forward to buying another pack in my last check this month :( I hope the issue gets resolved, I'm sorry that this is happening to you Porforever!
Thank you very much! Actually, the good news is my Gumroad page has been suspended by now confirmed by the support! The products are all visible properly now!
Oh no...I hope we can resolve this quickly.
Thank you very much!
I'm sorry wat?! NSFW, Shouts "where" so loud the entire galaxy hears
🤣🤣🤣
Holy shit, they came for Por, which one did they had an issue with though!? so even just echi stuff aren't allowed? well...Gumroad's probably going to lose a lot of customers now..
They don't even specify which one is against their rule, and they temporarily unpublished all my products from the shop. From what I know now is Gumroad just trying to mass-forcing its sellers to update their page to be compliant in a very poor and unreasonable way before the deadline. Many artist friends received the same email, including the one who unpublished all their content several months ago because of my country's silly Paypal policy. I'll just have to see what I can do soon!
This is ridiculous... On the off chance Gumroad doesn't realize their mistake because of all their rule changes, if I may offer an alternative? Ko-Fi could work as a good temporary option. It functions about the same as Gumroad, but they're not that strict.
I've heard of others using Payhip as well.
It would help if they were a bit more specific about this "offense" instead of issuing a ban. Hate how this is the solution many companies shoot for.
Yes, couldn't agree more. At least they should specify which one is against their rule. From what I know now is Gumroad just trying to mass-forcing its sellers to update their page to be compliant in a very poor and unreasonable method before the deadline. Many artist friends received the same email, including the one who unpublished all their content several months ago, which is absolutely nonsense.
Flabbergasted. :(
Subscribestar has been a good alternative since they're not beholden to paypal/mastercard's rulings.
I'll check it when I have a chance after finding a solution to the current Gumroad shop first. Thank you for your suggestion!
That's strange, the only suggestion I can think of that I saw some artists use is Itch.io, maybe you can upload and put your brushes and works for sale there.
Thank you for your suggestion! I just realized that I can't actually rely on a single platform as a shop anymore. Seems that brand loyalty is not needed in this era anymore to survive.
I get my paycheck soon and I wanted to purchase another pack this is so sad
What?! Are you serious?!? This is bull! Out of all the people to bother that are doing this kind of thing, they target you?! Ugh! I really hope you find a solution soon because I really want to purchase your brushes later!
It may take some time but I'll do my best to get the products back in the shop again!
What on earth. Out of all of the accounts that are still selling polygon gentialia on this platform... they come bother your account? This is absurd.

I'll do my best to get the page and products active again, soon!
