Event idea
Hieee Guyss
Well, it’s been a while since I’ve wanted to release a game on Steam. I’ve been thinking about it for a long time, and by the end of last year I started making a small maze/puzzle game. However, I hadn’t really thought through what the final reward of the game would be.
Then I had the idea of creating an event. I plan to release the game on Steam for $2.00, and the first players who manage to finish the game would win a free Patreon subscription.
For example:
Third place would receive 1 month of the Mega Supporter subscription for free.
Second place would receive 2 months of the subscription.
First place would receive 3 months of the subscription for free.
(I haven’t decided yet whether there will be only 3 winners, or maybe 5 winners, or even more. I’m also considering giving a reward to everyone who finishes the game, even if they don’t place in the defined top ranking.)
Patreons would receive the game for free with early access, and the prizes for completing the game would be the same as well.
Well, this is my initial idea for releasing a game on Steam and, at the same time, creating an event as a way to say thank you.
I swear I’m not a mercenary for charging $2.00 for the game. Besides wanting to put a game on Steam, I want to test how the platform works—and on top of that, it’s quite expensive to publish a game on Steam from Brazil 🙏😭🙏
I’d really like to know your opinion on this: whether I should continue with this idea or if you have suggestions to help me improve it.
Thank you very much for reading this far, and have a great day
(And soon, the release date for Corruption Time).

Estás empezando no 2 dólares no son nada estás empezando así que no hay problema eso si lo puedes publicar el evento un lunes te estaría agradecido porque otros días no podré participar en el evento
Oh, el evento aún está a un tiempo de distancia, así que no te preocupes
There's people charging way more on steam for shit that's bad to the extreme,so I think it's a good (and fun) idea.
