The Airship Andalusia [InMotion] - The Airship Andalusia - Heading Up High (Character Showcase, MP4 Version + Highlight Images, PDF Format)

So, this has been a long time coming. Ten years to be exact. When we first started creating the characters and story of The Airship Andalusia, we dreamt of an animated series. We quickly discovered that we did not have the time, computing power, and allied creatives to make a such a thing a reality. So, we pivoted and chose graphic novels as the format through which we could tell the story and "The Airship Andalusia - Return to Seven Moon Crossing" was born.

Over the years of creating graphic novels full of original characters and stories, we would occasionally fantasize about turning the stories into animated features. But, it was only our fanciful imaginations at work. The harsh reality remained: we did not have the resources to make it happen. Not yet.

Over the past several months we have been experimenting with the power of new AI tools designed to generate images and animated clips. The AI tools have great potential but still lack the level of precise control that artists require. Now, if you're willing to exchange a little control for a bit of chaos, you can live with images and video that are 80-90% of what you envisioned. For us, that's a passable margin of error. It brings us much closer to the possibility of creating a feature-length animated version of The Airship Andalusia.

Here's something that gives you a peek at what's to come. Not now. Not this year. Not next year. But, soon (geologically speaking... ;-D). Submitted for your viewing pleasure is The Airship Andalusia - Heading Up High. Due to copyright issues, we could not use Armin Van Buuren's "Heading Up High (feat. Kensington)" as the soundtrack. So, queue up the song on Apple Music and play the video with no sound. You'll get the vibe.

For long-time fans of The Airship Andalusia, you'll enjoy the photorealistic versions of Polonius and Lady Penelope, Thweela, Lady Aleksa and Monty, Pugs, Lady Katrin, Cee, Perceval and Stonemaaker, and the Spiritwalker.

Enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: The Airship Andalusia's graphic novels are still AI-Free, but we use AI tools to create our animated characters and stories.
