My son asked my mom if her dog ever *does* anything any more the last time we visited. The dog is 13+ years old and has finally started lazing about rather than running around like a caffeine fiend 😂 EDIT: This comic reminded me of that.

There's a theory that cats bring us mice to see if we get interested in hunting, as that's as mothers do with their kittens and from what they can see we're kind of big clumsy cats that don't exercise nor pursue any life interests. They're worried about us.

By my understanding, exercise is still important for the elderly. Balancing the intensity is a concern, but the benefits of what can be done still apply.
