Back to the Grind Once Again

Now that WGM Chapter 13 is out there, that means we’re immediately back to working on the usual weekly titles: Working Girls Weekly, Pretty Officer x Drunk Salaryman, and The Jen Manga.

On top of those, I’m also working on the story scripts for WGM Chapter 13 and a few other projects I’m doing for others (If there are KA fans here, you know what I'm talking about.)

My daily work basically consists of drawing manga pages all day for six different titles, then spending my nights working on stories and finalizing script drafts.

I do manage to sneak in an hour of gaming every now and then before I go to sleep, but quality sleep has long since become a forgotten privilege. At this point, it’s honestly a miracle my body hasn’t filed for resignation with the amount of work I’m putting it through and the perpetual lack of sleep.

Anyway, I’m gearing up to start shoveling coal into the good ol’ engine once again as we begin work on Pretty Officer x Drunk Salaryman Chapter 8 and The Jen Manga Chapter 2.

Regarding The Jen Manga Colored Pages

We’ve dropped below the $3.5K monthly goal, which means we’ve lost the Colorized Pages.

I’m making The Jen Manga available to all paid members, which means I’m unlocking it for the $1.99 tier. This is something I probably should have done right from the get-go. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking when we first started The Jen Manga series, but this is something I’m addressing now.

If unlocking The Jen Manga helps us bring back enough support to fund the Colorized Pages, then I’m more than happy to keep delivering them.

I can live with or without Colorized Pages. They’re nice to have, obviously, but they’re also a considerable amount of extra work, especially since I’m not primarily a color artist. If there’s really no demand for them, then that’s less work on my end, and I can put that extra time and precious energy into the stories themselves.

So, for now, The Jen Manga is unlocked for all paid members. If that helps us get the Colorized Pages back, fantastic. If not, that’s perfectly fine too. Either way, I’ll keep focusing on making the manga itself as good as I can and I appreciate the continued support everyone is giving. I love what I do and your continued support has provided meaning to my life and for that, Im always grateful.
