Victim of a Cosmic Prank

I feel like the universe slapped a clown sticker on my forehead. A few days ago I was ready to quit everything. I even wrote a farewell so catastrophically cringe it was nothing but sailing metaphors and ripped-off One Piece melodrama. It read like fanfiction written mid-breakdown. And now we’re somehow back at almost 2000USD in pledges. Life really enjoys its plot twists. I guess we’re doing this, huh.

Funding is coming back so I’m back too. Here’s what to expect:

• Despite not yet hitting our actual 2k Monthly Goal (1.87k at the time of this writing), production of Working Girls Monthly Chapter 10 resumes.

• A fully colored, sexy but SFW artwork from me as a sincere thank you to everyone who stayed, jumped back in and Shanghai'ed into joining this crew.

Possible New Limited Tier With a Very Unique Benefit.
Also, I’ve been in touch with an enthusiastic supporter who asked if I’d allow pledges higher than what I currently offer. (The highest I have is the 100USD tier). I thought about it and it lines up with something I’ve been considering for a while: a Limited Backer Tier where supporters can submit their original character and I’ll include that character somewhere in the comics, either with a spoken line or just chilling in the background. Let me know what you have in mind and we can work something out.

To be honest, I didn't wanna create another tier or ask anything higher than what I currently offer so the price point I’m comfortable with is the existing 100 USD Studio Nice Enjoyer Tier. I’m limiting it to three slots for now because this is highly experimental and I’m not sure yet if it’ll cause conflicts with my workflow. Honestly, I should’ve done this ages ago since I always needed supporting characters anyway. I have below the working guidelines. Nothing is final yet.

Preliminary Guidelines

• Your (1) Original Character, to fit naturally into the Studio NICE Universe, will be Eigo Guru employees dressed in contemporary attire. You can submit wardrobe options, but they may change outfits from time to time.

• They will appear across Working Girls Weekly, Working Girls Monthly, and Pretty Officer x Drunk Salaryman either background characters or supporting characters.

• They may have spoken dialogue or simply appear reacting alongside other characters.

• If you want your OC to take center stage in a dedicated comic, that will count as a commission. DM me for the rate. I can collaborate with you on the script, or I can draw directly from the script you submit.
