Where the Wind Takes Us
My Dear Darlings,
I think it's safe to say that we are now looking at the beginning of the end for this Patreon. Support has been steadily waning and maybe that’s simply how some journeys end, quietly with a whisper rather than with a crash. All this time, I've felt the dream was a small boat, with it's small sail on a vast ocean. Ive been at it since 2011, I feel old and maybe a little too sick to keep rowing against the current. After years and decades of trying, part of me wonders if it’s time to rest.
And yet, I’m still on this journey, captivated by the open ocean and the wonder of the unknown more keenly than ever. I’ve come this far, and I still wonder whether to raise the sails and steer boldly into the deep blue, or simply accept that it may be time to come back to familiar shores.
To everyone who has kept this boat moving with their support, thank you. And to those who have been the wind since day one, my eternal gratitude. Your generosity and faith have filled these sails and kept this little boat afloat far longer than I ever imagined. Though I am alone at the helm, it is your wind that carries me onward.
I will see through the conclusion of both Working Girls and Pretty Officer x Drunk Salaryman, though their endings may come sooner than planned. Perhaps abrupt, perhaps unsatisfying, but maybe that is how some journeys end; Not with a triumphant conclusion of a grand odyssey but by simply coming home.
The wind is yours to command. Each pledge, each bit of support, is a gust filling this little boat's sail. Whether this little boat sails onward to the unknown or glides back to familiar shores depends on the direction you choose to send the breeze. The horizon stretches endlessly, and I’ve never been more eager to see where it takes us.

On the bright side, it looks like quite a few people have recently been exposed to your content, me included, and are loving it. The evil algorithm may have just caused a change in wind to new a brighter shores.
I'm so sorry it's not been panning out on Patreon, I always enjoy your humor and art and I wish I could support more. Being unemployed and/or not crazy rich to be able to support amazing and fun artists like yourself is always a huge personal regret. I know if I land a a job, I'll donate to your comic because it speaks to me. I hope things turn around
It’s all good. Things happen when they’re meant to. I’m also figuring out how to just trust the process and wait for my time. Meanwhile I appreciate your kind words and gratitude for what I do.
Ach, i hope you can find the streght to continue your journey with us, captain.
I just need something to make this work. I can live off instant ramen noodles, that’s fine. The problem is, I’ve spoiled my two dogs too much with the money I'm making drawing anime. Now that money's drying up, they wont eat the cheaper dog food i got them. 😂
Wish you the best of luck on your travels and future endeavors
Well, I'll be here until you shut the lights off. Hopefully we'll all be old and gray by that point. Until then!
I take comfort in that thought. ✨
Good luck to ya man, many laughs were made from your content.
Man I just woke up and already on the verge of tears 😭 It's been an honor to sail with ye, dear captain.
Just to let you and everyone know, I wrote this after getting depressed because my two dogs refuse to eat the cheaper dog food i got them (i was cost cutting) and felt like a complete failure. i got a good night sleep and now im resolved to turn things around. Let's keep this dream alive. 😤
Thanks you very much for all of your wonderful and funny stories who made laugh more than once and lighten the mood when I needed. I hope you have a safe rest and I pray I will saw your comics in the future
I'm also relatively new here, but even so, your works have made a lasting impact on me. I'll miss you. Good luck on your next journey. Maybe we will see you pop up from time to time in passing, so that we may spark a little remembrance
I'm sad as Hell now.
Im determined to keep this dream alive. we've survived this far. Im not giving up.
Every ride reaches the final station, the proverbial last stop. Everyone eventually parts ways, but the memories in between are what make the journey. Thank you for those that you have provided us; I couldn’t have asked for more.
Yeah, every ride will eventually hit the last stop… or maybe it just pulls into another station we didn’t see coming. Who knows? Either way, thanks for riding along and making it way more fun than I ever expected.
I’d sure hate to see ya go. You have such beautiful art and stories. Especially i recently started reading your work.
We don’t really know what the future holds. This could be the first of a thousand goodbyes as I keep cranking out silly weekly gag skits for years to come, or it could really be the end. All I know is I’ll keep on drawing until it all fades, but hopefully not from everyone’s memory.
I really hope you can stick around, you’re art and stories are amazing. But make sure to do whatever not only makes you happy, but is best for you, even if that may mean goodbye. Much love and here’s hoping for the best
I’ll stick around, and I’ll be the last one off this boat. Then it’s on to a different kind of boat, only sailing much more familiar shores. or maybe we get to keep this one sailing for a few more years. Anything could happen, really.
Thank you so much on your hardwork just to see your amazing dad jokes and your artwork is always amazing to see!
