It appears that Shirosaki is actually looking forward to their 2nd udon breakfast. Enough for her to do a makeover. Was it a bold act of self-expression, a calculated attempt to lure Hiroshi based on “field observations,” or a knee-jerk emotional malfunction powered by zero fashion sense and years of emotional athrophy brought on by her job patrolling Kabukicho’s nastiest alleys.
Whatever the case, Chapter 4 will explore how Shirosaki’s heat-of-the-moment derailment gave birth to the misunderstanding that started it all.
