I’ll be honest with you, because I kinda have to. It feels like the last two months we’ve been dragging Shirosaki’s hopes through the mud and getting sprinkles of romantic commentary that push her slowly towards Salaryman. It’s been a little confusing but I get the gist mainly.
No, We absolutely did. Slow and confusing is exactly what I wanted for this Flashback chapter. The main point is, you can’t force someone to fall in love. No magic chime, no fate, no meddling elders can make someone fall in love with someone if they haven’t chosen it for themselves. Love isn't something that just happens (even though you're super lonely) . It’s a choice, and she’s still deciding if it’s one she wants to make.
