Next chapter, we take a wild detour back in time, far from the neon chaos of Kabuki-cho’s nightlife to see Drunk Salaryman’s side of the coin.
All I’m gonna say is Chapter 3 flips the script completely. Hiroshi isn’t the drunken trainwreck, and Shirosaki isn’t the composed, picture-perfect officer we know. Get ready for a full-on character dynamic switcheroo.

The original script had lines about how he actually just mistook her for someone else and how lady of nights should be treated with respect as a human being despite their poor life choices but I found it too melodramatic and felt it dragged the pacing so i just ommited it.
