Each year, in the night of the 5th of January the Three Wise Men bring presents to the children. They must have been checking your twitter replies as they have left these files in my hard drive. I am only passing them on, all the magic comes from them.
Although there are some problems with percussion sounds, Robocop now has its own core, based on that of Bad Dudes. The protection CPU is different though. I need a bit more time to check that the protection CPU speed is correct, although, it may not impact the gameplay in a noticeable way.
You all have to update the jtbeta.zip manually this time. Copy it to the games/mame folder in MiSTer. Do not unzip it. Conversely, just unzip the attached jtcop_mister_040121.zip file to the root of your SD card. It will get all cores updated, jtbeta.zip included too.

Aunque hay algunos problemas con los sonidos de percusión, Robocop ahora tiene su propio núcleo, basado en el de Dragon Ninja. Sin embargo, la CPU de protección anticopias es diferente. For anyone having trouble with finding the right rom, this one worked for me: 403.81 kb MD5 (robocop.zip) = d8afe2dbf6c337b108fb2309d857f63b (run `md5 robocop.zip` to get the md5 hash) - I found it by googling: `edgeemu mame 226 robocop rom` and using first result Many thanks works for me
Where is the 040121.zip? Just joined still kinda a newb on this. Also what is the jtbindb.json files for? Where should they be located on my SD card?
There are files attached to the Patreon posts. Also check the #betafiles channel in Discord for easy access -same files though- I also sent you some notes privately yesterday.

I have just replaced the zip file attached to this post. Please try to manually copy the file or delete the old RBF and run update_all again

impossible robocop is blocking help me
Anyway to force it 60hz? My modern tv cannot handle it, always blackscreen after load the game..
A blank screen probably means that MiSTer is not finding the ROM files
Does anyone know why the txt filters no longer work? I can set whatever I want, but it just doesn't work anymore.

I just wanted to say a be thank you for all your hard work. Robocop is one of my favourite arcade games of al time.
I download the new Jbeta, the mra and rom, but the game freezes at the beginning all the time. It happes with the alternatives mra too. Anyone with the same problem?. Ps: I used the update_all for the mra and rom. The jbeta i download from here and delete the old one from games/mame
Hi, I also get the same. I've also tried grabbing the JTBETA zip from discord but that makes no difference. The freeze doesn't happen at exactly the same time but is at the beginning. The Music does continue and I can also add credits

I have downloaded the mister zip, extracted to proper folder, executed update all, tried the Robocop arcade, misterfpga freezed and won't boot anymore :( Maybe sdcard got corrupted ?.
It was sdcard. I have fixed the problem by overwriting the linux part. Now it boots and I can finally enjoy the Robocop.

Hi Ben, most likely, MiSTer cannot find the ROM files. Check that you don't have more than one MAME folder and that the right zip file is there.
Nice one, how do I comment on the beta for any improvements? The bald guy with the grenade on the trash heap level has his top head duplicated near his foot. The Video Processing Options, I understand that this is a new designed feature and WIP, but nothing on this worked like before. Thanks again you're doing excellent work.
Well spotted! The best place to post issues is here: https://github.com/jotego/jtbin/issues For now, we are supporting shadow mask via the main OSD menu. We will add support to the Video Processing Options once the interface becomes stable
Thank you for this! I only have a black playscreen - I can see the high score at the top and power bar at the bottom and sound works but no actual scene playing? I've updated the two files in my MAME folder - any ideas?
It looks like your ROM set is incomplete and MiSTer is failing to load some of the GFX ROM files.
Wow, thank you! I've tried everything I can think of, but I'm just getting a black screen with HUD after inserting coins and starting the game. Anyone know what I'm missing?
Can you see other graphics like Robocop behind the high score table? Maybe some file didn't transfer correctly to your SD card (ROM or RBF)

Aaaaa! this is awesome. I am working on a 1cc for Robocop to post on my channel. Should have it done next week. I was bummed that I had to record with emulation. Now I can record it with the MiSTer!....Robocop looks somewhat blurry on my crt. I figured it was because my crt wasn't using the exact native resolution. I'm curious to see if it displays sharper with the MiSTer....I will definitely post a 1cc run by next week and will share the link here if that's okay.
