To buy or not to buy
I am travelling this week and next week in Japan. I have located a Street Fighter 1 board in a shop. This is a rare game and there are no schematics available. I also found Renegade and Double Dragon. And finally I found and I bought Gun Smoke. Gun Smoke is part of the pre-CPS1 games I am working on so I bought it straight away.
Now, here is the question for you: do you want me to get any of the other three boards? Do you prefer me to just focus on what I have pending for now?
Because it is just too easy to say "yes buy it!", if I buy it I will make a charge post for it so please vote for a game only if you really want it. Once the game is ported to FPGA, I will present the PCB to a patron though a raffle.
I will double check with +$20 patrons before buying as this has more impact for them.

Get the Double Dragon please.
I actually thinked a lot about it before voting, i personally do not like Popeye, but i'm very interested in C64 SID (i signed up to Patreon and started to support Jose mainly for that reason) but i really loved Double Dragon and C64 SID implementation actually is in a decent state, so i can wait for it :)
I´d be happy t donate extra to get some or all of these boards if that´s helpful .My view is get more cores onto MiSTer and fix up the glitches later
Honestly, I’d be happy if you could just fix the awful sound implementation in the existing PacMan core for MiSTer and/or fix the Ms. PacMan core for MiSTer.
I didn’t know about that! I think I have the schematics for Ms. PacMan. Let me have a look at it.
Double Dragon for me but finish popeye first
I would also be willing to send you a Double Dragon PCB to borrow. My offer is also still on the table for any of the many Sega 16/18 and CPS1 games I offered a few months back.
Double Dragon has a lot of slow down as more characters enter the screen the slower it gets. DD is one of the few games that I would rather have the bootleg for because some bootlegs fix the slowdown issues. It be great Jose, if you could address the slow down and maybe add a turbo/fix feature to fix this.
Although it kills me to say it because I want the SID implementation so badly, the rare board sounds like a win in terms of preservation and the scene as a whole.
If you can get a rare board, and make a schematic of it, so other people could make a physical reproduction (if they got rom data somewhere*cough*) of it in the future if so inclined that would be cool. I would work on the Triage model. Get the boards most likely to be lost forever and document/convert them first. Then once done resell it to pay for a new board to work on.
Yes, I would draw a schematic first before writting the FPGA code. Both the schematics and the Verilog code will be public so it will be possible to reproduce the PCB.
What are the costs per board? Make a special request here and buy all three!
Double Dragon 10,800 Yen Street Fighter 1 39,800 Yen Renegade 24,000 Yen I cannot really buy the three boards and transport them as these are quite bulky :-(
Double Dragon is so important to a lot of people... that would be so nice to have in FPGA :O
Street Fighter is soooo underrated. Arcade must be preserved 😊
sf1 kinda sucks 🙃 that’s why only sf2 entered into the legend !
I was also surprised when I played it on MAME. I only knew the computer versions and it was very popular in computer. Could there be somethign wrong in MAME gameplay?
