Quick Update
As you can see on our development kanban, we have accumulated a number of features and bug fixes on cores to be released lately. One of them is the game saving for NGPC, which we have now tested extensively and it is working well.
However, I am still focused on CPS3 and reviewing a general release currently has lower priority. So I decided not to make it this week.
The CPS3 sound and video modules are functional. The SDRAM memory architecture is working. I am currently at the stage of booting up the CPS3 core. This always involves a bit of debugging and finding edge cases. I am expecting the core to boot up during this weekend.
Once it boots and we can test it on the real FPGA, the final verification stage starts. We may have the first beta next Friday if the debugging goes well.
Now I will go back to CPS3 core bootup debugging, sorry for the brief update!
