VIDEO: Myth & Reality of the Dambuster Raid

This video features a discussion with aviation historian Victoria Taylor on the Dambuster raid of 1943.
In the discussion we talk about many aspects surrounding the Dambuster raid that are neglected in the popular narrative and also look at the German perspective. Victoria, who has also published on the Dambusters, has learned German as part of her historical studies, is one of the (few?) non-German historians that has continuously engaged with the original (non-translated) source material.

Late to the show guys. Saw the black and white movie when I was a wee tot. Read John Nichol's "Lancaster" book. What an awesome aircraft. Nice interview with Chris and Victoria. Lots of detail and passion on this subject matter.
